Beautiful park and trails are very well marked! Some trails were a little muddy, but to be expected considering the wet season we've had. Beware of ticks!

There's more trail here then the maps indicate, most of them unmarked and some not very well maintained, with multiple splits. Make sure your phones charged, you don't want to lose GPS if you leave the main trail. Paths were very muddy after recent rain, but the view of the lake from the cliffside at the end was worth it.

Fun. Great fall hike!

Gray hike! Caves!

Trail is temporary closed due to maintenance but we still hiked it. Many trees down and is in need of major trail repair. It can be difficult to follow with limited signs and the trail is very narrow and at times not passable but you won't find too many people on it. Overall it's a nice little hike if wanting to get out for a quick hike

Great trails, very dog friendly!

Made the trek from the boat launch to the falls, 3.6 miles round trip, and did the 178 steps at the falls to the overlook! Absolutely stunning views both of the falls and the overlook!

Great short walk. Beautiful surroundings. We’re from Seattle just needed a little exercise from traveling.

Nice walk in October!

pretty muddy but doable. love the fall foliage.

Not much of a hike. Pretty to look around. Cool and damp.

Very nice and easy trail. Hiked it in the rain and had no issues although the paths that are not covered were very muddy. Not really scenic but the trail itself is great to hike on.

Nice and easy trail if you are planning a quick hike. Took my youngest (who was 3 at the time) and although we didn't do the whole trail, he was able to walk about 2 miles worth. Really nice scenery.

1st timer for this hike. Interesting terrain from narrow paths in the woods to residential yards. A little worn by the end, but felt so good to complete. Our GPS tracker recorded 21.3 miles around the lake. Went with a group and this made the hike even more enjoyable . Will definitely do again

Based on other reviews, I expected this hike to be much easier. Although it wasn’t what I would call hard, but it is not for everyone. It had rained overnight so the rocks were slick during our ascent and multiple times I had to use my hands for extra assurance to not slip. There were signs on the trail, but twice they were a bit confusing to me and I ended up having to backtrack after realizing I was not on the correct trail. I wish I had tracked the mileage, because it felt longer than 1.9 miles. Overall I thought it was a great hike for the Midwest and would recommend.

Very easy hike. I’d have to say that after hiking Meyers Beach and Lost Creek falls this was my least favorite. I think this would be a great hike for families with younger kids. Fairly easy and well

Excellent moderate hike. There are a lot of small hills which is why this is considered a “moderate.” In some cases it’s almost easier to just walk alongside some of the stairs that have been built. There were a lot of families on this hike who seemed to be managing just fine. The views at the end at spectacular. Keep a close eye on younger hikers at the end of the trail.

Easy couple hour hike. Amazing views of the shorelines and caves. Fun trail and lots of places to set up a hammock to relax along the way.

This was a beautiful trail! Still under construction, so some parts were rocky/slippery, but the view from the top of St. Peter’s Dome was well worth it. I recommend going in the fall!

Parts of the trail are washed out by the river right now.

Bring bug spray, beach is rocky.

The tower has been closed permanently. There were some beautiful look outs on this hike.

We hiked Eagle Trail which hooked up with a few other trails. Part of Eagle Trail was ran parallel to the lake. It was awesome! Rock formations and caves. I would highly recommend this hike. I would say it is a moderate hike.

Great hike!

Lovely, easy hike with pretty decent coastline scenery. Some of the rocky bits were a little slippery so I'd use caution if hiking in winter.

Scenic. Great for hiking on foot, dogs on leashes and especially for bikers.

Great trail and fantastic views. Amazing in the fall. The stairs can get slick if it’s rainy, but worth the time to hike.

Great views and very challenging for being partially blind.

One of my favorites. Bring waterproof shoes or extra socks. My four year old did great on this trail, there’s lots to climb. Fairly busy but we went on a Saturday afternoon.
