Scott B. on St. Croix Freefall
There is a 1 mile paved trail, that leads up to a very nice, wide, path in either direction. The path is NOT paved, and is compacted dirt/gravel. I went there looking for a nice 23 mile cruise on a bike path, and it turned out to be a grueling, bumpy ride.
The trail would be super for walking and running, as there are many places to get on the trail and beautiful scenery. I probably won't be going there to bike again.
Lil ole St. Croix. I love this trail and have been on it my whole life. There is something for all ages here. Personally I like climbing just across the River in Taylors Falls. Over all I would definitely recommend a peak if you are in the area.
This is one of several trails within the Interstate Park in St Croix Falls, Wi. All of the trails combined might equal 8.9 miles but this one is less then 1 mile so don't feel as though you'll need to conquer all 9 miles. The views are exceptional, the trails are fairly rugged and well marked. There's no chance of getting lost here.
