Started this trek in July 2017 and finally finished on Dec 23, 2017. Actually walked more than double the estimated miles because I was leap-frogging the parked car. Also, the drive became further as I progressed north. Weather played a big concern. The last day was brutal. At least 20-25 mph with nw winds and temps in the low to mid teens if that much.

Good thing I was wearing my USAF Arctic parka and long underwear, scarf and ski mittens.

Overall, the trek was sort of worth it. There were beautiful sections down south but as I walked parallel to 145 into Kewaskum, the stink of diesel, gas and CO plus noise was terrible.
