Just did this trail today. the trail itself is open but the park/food/bathroom facility was still closed. very easy stairs downs (or ramp) and then another set of stairs to two separate platforms for beautiful views of the falls. very beautiful and very short walk.

Fun easy trail with lots of shade.

Some super muddy spots as of right now but still one of the parks most beautiful trails. Easy and scenic.

Perfect for a hot day. Short trail, clearly marked, cool down half way with a small cave, easy for the dogs, shaded. Hiked yesterday and there was a tree that had fallen on the path. If you can’t climb well, probably avoid this trail until it can be removed.

Recommend taking the tram at Hawks Nest and walking up the trail. You'll find Mill Creek Falls here.

This Moderately trail was spectacular! the only part was finding the beginning. There are tons of trails down to the actual trail, and we chose the Den Tree. Once we finally found it, it was very enjoyable. Lots of up and downs and wonderful views of the lake!

There are a lot of intersecting trails that are not marked. It’s not a hard hike though.

Great trail! It does have a bit of a uphill section but it is totally worth it to see the waterfall! Beautiful trail. There was 2 downed trees blocking the trail but could easily be walked around. Overall I would recommend this trail.

Nice walk, a little muddy in the spring. great views of the waterfalls. One of them you can actually walk behind!

Nice downhill walk out to the two overlooks. The climb back out from the right overlook is probably moderate. Overall a good hike.

Nice trail out and back. Well maintained. Look for a hidden surprise about halfway out on the right.

VERY STEEP AND I WOULD NOT CONSIDER IT A MODERATE HIKE!

The falls are small and fun to relax in. we had lunch there. The last half of the loop is the prettiest. It merges with Wilderness trail. The rest of the loop is clear, but not a whole lot to see. The creek crossings are easily passed while staying completely dry.

There were a few muddy spots but nothing that made it hazardous or difficult to trek through. The first part walks you along side of the lake at a nice level ground. A few dips here and there. The second stretch weaves you up and down in the valley. This was the moat difficult part of the trail due to some steepness. The third part was nice running through the valley alongside of a creek. We were a bit confused. The Poe trail leads you out to a campground. You have to pas through the campground and go diagonally to access the Poe trail again for completion. The trains were well marked and well groomed.

Very nice trail with beautiful views of 3 waterfalls plus many small ones. Tree lined all the way next to Creek.

Great trail. I suggest no more than 2 littles per adult as it can get steep in places. I wore my 1.5 year old on my back and helped the 2 year old by hand when needed. The 6 and 8 year old did fantastic with a bit of directions. We let the kids play in the creek before we left to cool down. Dog friendly and easily marked. Be carful to look for markers as some people have deviated from the trail and caused look alike paths.

This is a nice easy loop perfect for kids or older people. The trails are mostly well maintained with the exception of a couple areas next to the road on Cathedral Trail where it is narrow and one side is a steep slope down to the creek. It's a must see if only for the old growth hemlock trees. I gave it three stars due to the proximity to a loud, busy road.

great trail! the trail has gorgeous rock formations and a few waterfalls that make for a nice variety during the hike. there are, however, one or two spots where big trees have fallen over the trail that require a bit off roading to get back on track. i would also recommend hiking boots because it was a little muddy in spots due to all the recent rain. will definitely hike this route again!

Love this trail. It is unique and full of special treats. I love the bridges, steps, river, perfect places to cool off, and then a hike up for variety. 3 miles is fine but I would enjoy it even more if it was longer. But a great place to be.

Nice kept trail with a great reward at the end! The last part is steeper and several roots.. saw kids of all ages.. took about 1 hr 15 min

Nice short trail. A little bit of an incline but certainly manageable. Well maintained and marked. Could be a little muddy if you catch it at the wrong time, but I’ve never had any issues in 3 or 4 hikes. It’s also easy to add the Fawn Trail for a little extra distance. The dog and I love it.
