Nice day ride. Slightly uphill going out. Nice mostly easy ride coming back. Some nice waterfall views. A bridge or two toward the end. Some traffic noise for some of the ride. Go's past the limestone plant. May encounter a little dust for a short distance. Partially shaded. Worth doing. Take a ride and have dinner in one of Morgantown's great restaurants/pubs afterward.

A new surprise around almost every bend. Never got boring or old. Didn’t have enough time to do the whole thing but we will be back!

Enjoyed a brisk 6 mike hike early morning on June 22, 2018 from Stony Bottom to Cass.

Drove 10 miles from rte 33 to trailhead at Glady. Locked gate across Trail and mud hole where hiker mightaccess. No access possible other than climb over gate. Disappointing to drive that far in vain.

Great trail and would rate as easy. Would like to go back and bike the trail. We did about 6 miles and then turned back. Great scenery and wild life . We saw 3 deer one of the does had a fawn. My wife almost stepped on a copperhead that was crossing the trail. It was a small one and looked like it just had killed a mouse and was on his way to eat the catch. Would highly recommend the trail.

Enjoyed the three mile section from Cairo to the Bonds Creek Tunnel. The picnic are on the other side of the tunnel was a nice pit stop.

my wife and I spent our honeymoon riding this Trail on our bikes.

i haven't been to this trail in many years, me and my family did this trail in 3 days total on bike, i would recommend to bring enough supplies with you for this, also no cell service from what i remember. its a great adventure but be prepared..

Most beautiful view EVER!!!

Hiked the entire trail in three days. Cass to Marlinton, Marlinton to Rorer, Rorer to Caldwell. Tracked over 80 miles with GPS. Picked up a few geocaches along the way. Very nice trail, would do it again!

Easy trail to walk or bike. Beautiful river views. Walked only a 4-mile section but want to return and do more.

Nice views of the creek along the way. With nice forest views as well. But my favorite place was the bench over looking the creek. If I remember correctly it's about half way on the trail.

It was a good hike. Very easy. Pretty much just all flat terrain unless you go down into the creek. Lots of fun and beautiful waterfalls, it's a great trail to take your dogs on if they love the water! I hiked down the trail & then crossed over at the very bottom where the lift is, to the gravel road only to get to the waterfall with the swimming hole. You can't access it on the trail. I also had to stop recording because my phone was dying, so I'd say it's about 5.2ish miles. You can park at the very beginning as well. Take a left at the rite aid, go through the bridge & then keep on driving till you see the sign "Ansted" with the brown barn. Also, it's great to run or bike. I think I might try that next time.

followed the directions that it gave me. found out from a local that some landowner had slashed a woman's tire for parking by the trail head. so we had to park on the other side and walk the tracks the entire way. other than that it was a beautiful place to spend a couple days.

I found this hike to be very relaxing! If you have the time you can mosey along and wander down to the creek! There are some super cool historic mining artifacts and a plethora of coal bits lying around. When you've reached the end there is a neat surprise if you don't already know what you're in for.

Great trail. lots of good places for pictures and gives a good workout. It's a little tricky to find. Turn right on the one way street just past the Rite Aid, then turn left to go under the bridge. Parking is just around the bend.

Super easy, cool waterfalls along the way, not marked well once you get to the base where the lift is located

This trail is really great for just about any kind of outdoors adventure. I prefer hiking, running, or biking for this trail. It's relatively easy as far as difficulty goes, although some parts of the trail may be more difficult for some people. There is so much wildlife along this trail!! You'll run into many birds, animals, and other lil creatures - especially in the warmer months. There are plenty of things to look at around you on this trail. The beginning of the trail, nearest Parkersburg, is really nice in my opinion. There's a huge field where you can see the sun set across the Little Kanawha river although it is close to the highway but the sound of the vehicles isn't distracting from the sounds of surrounding nature. Would recommend 9/10
