Great trials very well marked. Some creek crossings was a little high after the rain and hard to cross and muddy.

Very beautiful park and well maintained! This trail is great for doing a DIY route that can add on miles if you find yourself up to it! There’s a diversity of trees and scenery changes as well as different trail structures which keeps it fresh. Today we made a detour for the lake and furnace which was nice for my friend who was a first timer. Usually we start at the Underlook/Underside Trail and go along Rock City and Rattlesnake and kind of just meander our way through. Having a GPS is nice for not following the trails exactly and making your own loop.

Really great hike. Started at the Clay Run trailhead instead of the overlook parking lot to get a hike in before reaching the overlook “summit.” Definitely recommend this! Trail wasn’t marked well around the small reservoir, but we easily got back on track. A little muddy/watery in some parts but an overall gorgeous hike. Did the Rattlesnake trail instead of Rock City upon approach to the overlook. Was really fun to climb around the boulders and keep an eye out for snakes!

took my 6 year old daughter and she loved it.. it was a nice short little hike but the beautiful reward of all the rocks and crevices was amazing

Lovely trail, hiked it on Mother’s Day, some patches of mud but the view of Cheat lake was rewarding . Highly recommend!

This isn’t an ‘official’ trail - I believe we went on McCollum trail up to coopers rock. Nice moderately challenging hike through forest with a great view at the top.

Great scenery. Fairly easy but slightly rocky in some places. If you're prone to falling a walking stick wouldn't hurt.

Easy quick hike to the furnace!

One of the best trails my boyfriend and I have done. Our favorite part was rattlesnake trail!

Payton ran this with my dog today, April 19, 2020. Really lovely hike; ended up being about 5 miles altogether. First trail takes you down a hill to a stream that you follow for the second third of the trail, then you come out into the woods and then into a rocky area that’s absolutely gorgeous (called Rock City). We ran the last mile and a half uphill - so fun. Lots of mountain bikers and a bit muddy but not crowded. Would definitely come back.

Excellent Trail This loop is made of 5 trails Blue Diamond = excellent Red Diamond = excellent White Diamond = ok Yellow Diamond = good+ Orange Diamond = good

Hiked on April 12 with my dog. Mildly muddy, expected because of rain yesterday. I would call this easy, not moderate. Trail is mostly flat, follows a river for the first half and a road for the second (Or vice versa depending which way you go). Overall it was a nice hike and many other trails connect if you want to make this longer or more challenging. This would be a nice trail to run.

Great hike! First time here - park was very quiet. Didn’t see anyone which was the plan. Beautiful spring weather and trees starting to bud.
