Nice trail to review the history of the area. The trail winds through Stiles Mansion and the grounds where it was once located.

Good for excercise. Not really much to see but it is nice. Hunting is allowed in this area, so wear orange.

Nice long trail BUT, take a map. it's very easy to get off track on this one.Other than that, there is every possible kind of scenery to be found.

I bike with a friend and together we have 5 kids 8-16yo. This is one of our favorites at Beech Fork. Lots of variety from easy to moderate.

Great trail. Going counter clockwise it starts around the lake and the latter half into the mountains. I went at the end of fall in mid November and the orange and yellow trees were beautiful.

Hike this trail several times a year for exercise. Nice outing. Several up and downs. Secluded. Spotty cell service. Not particularly attractive. A couple views of lake, but mostly fire roads and ridge lines.

Great trail for a casual hike on a chilly fall day. Not very strenuous but still scenic - especially with the leaves changing color.

Very pretty area, good for a quick hike. Raven’s Rock was my favorite trail (That’s where everyone gets those cool pictures)

This trail was a lot cooler years ago when there were actually beavers at Beaver Pond. There are waist high weeds once you leave the parking area for the entire trail. There is a strong gas leak smell near where the trail joins the creek and evidence that the pipeline is leaking into the creek. :(

There is a Ziler Trail and a Ziler Loop Trail. The Ziler Trail goes basically straight up! At that point you can go left or right and it loops. The hike up is very steep with switch backs but really beautiful.

Definitely a workout on the way up! The trail is difficult to see in various spots so I actually used this app to get me back on course. Not a soul in sight. My only complaint is that there really is no view from the top. I had to go off the trail on the backside of the mountain through tall brush to get a good view. Would definitely recommend it though!

We combined this trail with a few links of others, to make it a loop! Luckily I had my GPS because the trails are very poorly marked. In mid October the trail was mushy wet in places. But very manageable. We especially enjoyed the varied flora as the different trail segments went thru forest, wet land and meadows! .

This is a beautiful little walk that can have some of the best reflection photos anywhere.

This is a great trail. Hiked on a Friday, out to the point then back around the loop via Dobbin House Trail. The hike was very peaceful, saw no other hikers during our trip. The view from the lookout is beautiful. Past the lookout, there are some great small waterfalls cascading down to the river.

It’s a hard climb full of switchbacks to the top. The top is a huge rock overlooking the park (not that great of a view) then you ride down a steep section back the the switchbacks and just ride them down

This hike is just okay, until you get 95% of the way to the end...then it gets incredible. The view from Long Point is world class. I hiked out here to climb. Its illegal to cliff jump, but if you can find your way down to the water to swim, SCUBA dive, or just hang out you'll love it. There is LTE cell phone reception out here (I have Sprint) and your smartphone will capture photos that are well worth the nearly 8 miles of casual walking. I can't wait to return here again in 2019. If you are interested in rock climbing, look over the edge all around long point and you'll see bolts and chains for sport routes.

Definitely do not cliff jump if you are not familiar with the landing as there are some shallow areas, and depending on the US ARMY Patrol's location, you could get hit with a heavy fine.

Fun terrain and gorgeous view at the end. It’s a moderate trail, it would be a little tricky for little ones.

Did this hike on a wet Saturday. Saw no one on the hike except for a forest ranger. Beautiful forest with a nice overlook point. Rated moderate but totally suitable for kids. We ended up doing a loop which was fun and totaled about 5 miles. Lots of trails back there so take a map so you don’t get lost. At some points can be confusing which way to go. Easily accessible from the lake. We had a great time and not too muddy even though had rained.

Brutal yet beautiful! Challenging hike to the top but a very nice, well maintained and clearly marked trail.

The start and stop point could be better marked or described as both myself and another couple spent a decent amount of time trying to find the trail... so here is what I suggest. Follow directions per the map but once you get to the looped road where it shows you start drive just past the loop and park on the left- you’ll see a spot.

From parking to trailhead- continue walking up the road to where it dead ends at a cabin and you will see the trail head sign on the right hand side as you approach the cabin. From here you can go either left or right as it is a looped trail.

Besides a bit of initial confusion finding the trail- the hike was wonderful!

Not walkable. Too much trash.

Simple hike with nice views at the end

great trail for a quick half-day hike. recommended for anyone just starting out or for a quick work out.

This was one of the better trails I explored in the area. There are many optional trails to return to the lake. On a Saturday, this trail was lightly trafficked, probably because the trailhead is difficult to find. Start at the Nature Center, which features live turtles, a snake, and taxidermy exhibit and go to the left of the lake until you cross a short bridge. Also, take a map to determine which trail to take.

Awesome trail, beautiful view at the end!

I highly recommend it! The ending view is like Lindy which is more popular, but this one has fewer people. For our Saturday summer hike, we only passed another couple. Park at the lake and hike back the Dibbon House Trail. It is well marked too! We saw three hawks soaring the canyon.

nice walk around the lake very easy

Great trail and a great view as a reward. There is only a small area to overlook from with no safety features for little ones!

We got on this trail near the fishing lake, so we didn’t do the whole thing. The trail is moderately rocky and a few parts are overgrown, but it’s very clearly marked with trail blazes and intersects with a few other trails. We enjoyed it.
