My hubby and I did the Meatbox trail only. 1.7 miles uphill. Steep in 2-3 sections, one at the very beginning and another at the end. The trail connects to the Rich Mountain fire trail, which appears to be a service road. Once you come off of Meatbox, turn right and walk about 1000 ft then take another sharp right to hike out to the big view. We walked back down Meatbox as we were parked at that areas Picnic grounds. We hiked in late September 2018, after a week of heavy rains. The trail was very wet. We crossed running water on several occasions. You can hear running water in Mill Creek during most of the hike. Don't try this trail in flip-flops. Water-proof Columbias were a blessing. We had the forest to ourselves. We'll be back!
