Trail head is a dirt patch that looks like just a pull off on the side of the road. But if you stop look straight ahead beyond the "yard" you will see the trail. Trail is well marked. Wide and well defined. Borders mountain spring run off so water available for your dogs. Rocky trail. Very beautiful quite views. Worth the drive.

I loved this hike! It seemed a new challenge and view was around every corner! It had a ton of ups and downs, mud, rocks, and even straight dry areas. Loved how you never got used to the hike! You crossed a creek on a beautiful bridge, had an absolutely beautiful overlook at the top. Loved it! Planning on doing it once a week coinciding with whatever else I do lol. Legit how much I loved it, and it was short!

Trail was beautiful. We didn’t go to far. Only about 2 miles. We are new and learning every time we go. This trail was very defined on the part we walked.

Glorious hike. Did not do the planned route. From the trail head fork we went along the straight path down towards the river. Crossed via log. Uptrekked on a yellow blazed trail and made it to theSleepy Creek Trail at the spine of the mountain. Took our time exploring the countless boulder fields and frolicking. The perfect day (:

This trail has everything a hiker could want. Ascents, descents, boulders, cliff views, water features, etc. It is a moderate trail. the only downside is the actual trail is 0.5 miles down a dirt road from the parking lot. So after a strenuous hike you get to do an additional half mile steep incline in direct sunlight.

No trouble finding the parking area, but it wasn't clear to me that the Jeep Trail (marked white) should be followed until you reach the Sleepy Creek Mountain Trail (marked blue). Turn right onto the blue trail to reach the overlook & rock ledges. Had a great time & would definitely recommend! Happy Hiking!

Well maintained. Nice moderate trail. Ironically got a bit crowded with everyone trying to distance themselves.

Definitely a moderate trail. Dog friendly. Anti climatic that people spray painted on the rocks but the water was nice.
