Beautiful trail

we enjoy this one with our dogs.

wonderful hike, a bit steep at times coming back out. very cool! It takes you to Nuttallburg Mine entrance and conveyer headhouse.

Also has a climbing area. Well worth adding it to your trail.

Very wet, but it had been raining a ton. The dog liked the trail. Nice forest, but nothing spectacular.

Easy with some elevation. Meets up with Long Point trail.

started on timber ridge and branched into the loop. lots of uphill downhill. at the bottom is a nice creek with a huge hole, i assume for swimming. running the trail back to connect to long point is wide open and pretty.

Short, easy lollipop loop. Make sure you turn left at 0.3 miles to head into the forest, not right to head into the prairie. Although you are near the edge of the gorge, there are no views. There are some nice beech and hemlock trees.

Nice hike a lot of up and down. Extended additional distance at the end. Would like to come back and complete the top trail.

Nice, short hike from the Burnwood Day Use Area. There's a picnic area at the trailhead, too. It's pretty, right across from the Visitor Center parking lot.

Nice easy walking trail that you can enjoy just being in the woods. Great trail for walking the dogs too.

Quick little trail. The best view us at the pavilion facing the bridge.

Located across RT19 from New River Gorge Visitor Center. Lisa and I hiked this loop after we went on the Tree Tops Canopy zip line tour. This is an adventure packed area of West Virginia a must go to spot.
