The trail is overgrown and not maintained. I was disappointed.

This trail was marked really well and the path wasn’t that difficult. You could tell this specific trail is well maintained which makes it more enjoyable. My family and I plan on hiking it again to take the sub-trails for even more fun.

The trail is super easy to follow and great for the inexperienced hikers. The trail is clearly marked with wooden markers that have painted arrows showing which way to go.

Beautiful trail and easy to get to. Many crossing trails which makes the route a little confusing. Could be better marked.

The park itself is very nice, well kept and pleasing to anyone that enjoys the outdoors. However, the trail system lacks detail on many levels. First: the trails themselves are located in obscure locations in and around the park. However, if your lucky to find a trail head?!?! I say kudos and job well done. Although, once you find a trail, you'll now find yourself fumbling and stumbling over trails that intertwine and overlap without warning. I'm uncertain of the zigzagging concept regarding this trail system?!? However, it's a great location if you want to work on your survival and land navigation skills. Will I go back? "Certainly" not all in the wilderness comes easy.

I'm confused. is this trail really only 1.9 miles because, by the reviews it sounds much longer.

Great hike! Completed in Feb of 2013 in about 6" of snow. We had a large English Mastiff with us which proved to be a challenge at the many fence crossings (can't exactly lift a 190# dog over a barbed wire fence). The shelters were great and the trail is well marked. The scouts have done a great job building solid bridges over the larger streams.

Mostly used by Boy Scouts. Some parts may be over grown at times. Good trail for this area.
