Beautiful fall! We hiked this trail during a heavy storm. The water was high at all crossings, 4 in total, in some places up to our knees. Trail is well marked and easy to follow. Several trees down to climb over and some light mud slides in places. Some ups and downs but nothing unmanageable. Parking was excellent- we were able to drive and park our 25’ motor home with no problem. Several places around this paved parking area for picnics but I recommend carrying your food and eating at the fall. We hiked this trail with two kids and several places we had to walk closer together to keep them safely on the trail. This was an exciting hike and the falls were full force and spectacular when we arrived. The temperature is cool and the rocks are big and inviting- a nice place to relax and take in the power of Mother Nature. Due to the storms and conditions we saw only a handful of people on the trail- making it quiet and easy to meld into that place we long for when we hike...peace! ✌
