Beautiful late winter/early spring hike. Sun was shining and because the bulk of this hike is exposed, I was able to hike shirtless to attempt to tan. The panoramic views of the Gorge and Mt Hood keep you motivated as you climb to the top; I imagine once the wildflowers bloom those will also be a great motivator. I particularly enjoyed being on the section just before the forest (the highest point).

The trail wasn’t crowded but we also went mid-week and started before 10am. I loved coming down little Moab and watching the mountain bikers, they’re crazy!!!

This was a beautiful hike. There is a great variety of things to see. I enjoyed the undulating terrain. We had a group consisting of young & old who found it to be slightly challenging at a few points but was easily overcome with little assistance and rest periods. I like that there are many different modalities that were able to participate as well as the multiple different routes that were available. I found walking sticks useful it help me over the rocks and roots. Highly recommend!

We did this hike on 3/18/18 and loved it! No snow on the ground. Benches conveniently placed for resting. Most people gave up after the Lower Falls so the higher you go, the less people you see.

Run run I run it too!

The start was a little tricky to find, it’s across the street from the side you can park on right by a school bus sign. The hike itself was a breeze. Not too much elevation, on and off tree cover. Saw all of three other people despite there being quite a few cars parked. Overall very nice quick day hike.

Super fun hike, did it a couple weeks ago. Although both parking lots were overflowed, there was enough room up top to really enjoy it! Really rewarding views

This was a great trail and I really enjoyed my walk/hike today on it! It’s is mostly unpaved with a paved section that follows downsize a running creek. The day was beautiful, but with the trail sort of going down, what I would call a crevasse between to higher sections filled with trees, it stayed a little chilly. It was totally worth the hike down and the beautiful sound waterfront end was a magnificent reward! It was lightly traveled today and I pretty much had the long stretch of beach to myself and my dog. I would say this more an easy trail and believe the intermediate rating is because your hike going back is all uphill. I would consider it a little strenuous for an older out of shape person but it is definitely easily doable and gives you that accomplished feeling. My tracker showed my walk at 3.10 miles from start to end. Trail starts at a weird location next to the building on the left.

Very poorly marked trails. Thank goodness for cell phone location tracking because I ended up off the trail multiple times trying to figure out where to go.

Beautiful walk, short and easy

yes it might be almost 5 miles long but it is a walk in the park good for beginning hikers dogs and with physical limitations

What an amazing view!!!!! It was a great hike to the top!

Our favorite trail in seattle. Nice lake. It gets busy specially on weekends. Finding a parking spot is very challenging. Super dog friendly. Most of the dogs are off leash. Gets really muddy so wear proper footwear. Also you can hangout and chill on the cliffs. It has a few good spots.

As those have already stated, the trail head is a mile and a half from the visitor's center where you start when snowshoeing. It wasn't overly crowded. Stunning views on a beautiful day. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This is a great hike to camp 1/2 way at Roaring Winds. Three spots available. End up at Deer Park for camping, relaxation and wait to get picked up.

3/19/2018 (Monday) - Two-hour loop from outside the gate at the end of SE 87th St (driving from 144th PL SE). Move up counterclockwise along an unmanaged trail which connects to De Leo Wall trail, go downhill a little to the intersection with Wildside trail, then go uphill back to the top of the De Leo Wall, move down along the Terrace Trail of Newcastle City.

I loved the hike and the view but it was very busy today and it's Monday

Did this in August with some friends and it was so much fun! Definitely recommend starting early because it took us a while, especially since we did bridal falls first. This trail is hard with tons of switch backs and a lot of uphill stairs. If you are somewhat fit, you will be fine. The lake is nice to swim in during the summer time as it is completely clear and cold. Reminds me of Lake Twenty-Two but you can’t walk around it on a board walk :) Bring lots of water and snacks because there are a ton of places to take a break and look out at the landscape. Highly recommend for those of you who want a challenge!

beautiful trail that carries you through diverse scenery. very well marked, and lots of opportunities to shorten or lengthen your jaunt as you go. will definitely visit again!

Great hike! The views are amazing and it is fun to watch the paraglider.

The trail is not paved but easy for children. It’s a great learning experience for all ages since there’s a wonderful nature center with fun activities on the site. There’s a really nice play area too for the kids to play on. Great place for educational learning about ponds, watershed animals, water cycle and nature outdoors.

Such a beautiful trail my girls loved wadding in the creek and it’s an easy path for toddlers. We really enjoyed this trail. There’s also some big boulders for climbing with the older kids near the entrance. A great place for a family day outdoors.

There’s so much to do at this trail. You can walk around the paved trail with kids on their bicycles or skates, or you can hit the more wooded trails and discover more nature scenes. There is a few fun bridges to find and lots of beautiful scenery to “get lost” in. Can’t believe this park is in the middle of Tacoma!

Such a beautiful hike! My friend and I love it!

Nice easy trail, relaxing with great views.

Love this trail I do it often. Lots of people come here but it’s still pretty peaceful with great views.

Easy hike definitely not moderate. Only downside was it was not well marked but we didn't have too much issue navigating. Muddy. Pretty falls.

Awesome place to visit. The moss is literally covering almost all you see and the dense colors of green are incredible! Highly recommend visiting

Beautiful hike. We can hear the pleasant sound of water falls all along the hike. You’ll see lower falls, middle falls, and upper falls. We went up to middle falls and Valley overlook. There’s also a bike path all the way to upper falls.

The trail itself was well maintained with a great payoff once you make it to the beach. The incline on the way back up was pretty tough for our 5year old so we had to take a lot of breaks, but overall it was a great hike.
