Gorgeous trail. You get steep rock climbing, meadows, fields, desert and the best part was 6 huge bucks in velvet at the top!

Nice hike. you can continue to explore on which I believe connects you to the beehive trail.

Nice hike though quite steep in some areas. Excellent bathroom situation at the trailhead. Also there is a convenient drinking fountain to collect water.

Great short evening hike! It is also a great jumping off place to more intense hikes!

Beautiful view at the top!

We took our 2 dogs up there today and it was perfect! It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun. The trail was nice as well. Not too easy, not too hard. Will definitely go back again!

... short hike and fully exposed but the incredible views of the Columbia River and a sprinkling of interesting rock outcrops , combined with several trails branching off to explore makes this a very worthwhile visit.

This trail is great for an early spring, lung expanding cardio workout, especially when you have been limited to the gym and machines all winter. It’s the path least traveled so going at your own speed will not be a problem.

Very short hike parts are steep but for the most part it's pretty easy. The view at the top is wonderful and because the hike doesnt take long you can do the others near by on the same day.

Very nice hike! Reward views all over the hike) no shade, so plan to hike at partly clouded skies. Will recommend hike boots or any toe protected shoes. Elevation gain at some points is pretty dramatic, and one hard place. Well maintained territory around. Dog friendly. Huge parking. There are a lot of small hikes on the way so keep track of your trail. With taking photos, stops, extra 0.6 miles of hike it took 2 hours to come back.

Cool hike, forgiving. Fun views and close to town. Lots of people and dogs.

Oh very confusing route to the lake. Many different trails and roads that Intersect each other. Reservoir was very pretty but took us awhile and a GPS to find it.

This trail is excellent if you are seeking a nice workout/hike close to town. It’s one of the safer ones if you plan to hike alone as well. There are a few steep parts and the trail can get narrow up around the cliffs. I wouldn’t recommend bringing children younger than 8. I have ran into a few friendly horseback riders up there as well. I have also heard that during warm weather snakes are around the trail so watch where you step.

Great hike and great views. There is still lots of snow on the trail. Some areas were packed down and easy to hike, other areas, I was falling through the snow up to my knees. Having snow shoes with me would have been nice, but the trail wasn't too long and the view at the end was worth it.

Beautiful Trail but not well marked. Beautiful views of snow covered mountains and the Wenatchee valley the higher you go.

beautiful sunny day with some long range views in places easy hike on packed snow with 7 and 10 year old wearing hiking boots. will do again in warmer months for sure, very nice first day of Spring hike

Beautiful views but Trail is an old Track Road and not in the best of shape. I understand it is soon scheduled for major upgrades in 2019. The trailhead facility itself was updated in the past several years. It is very nice. It has safe parking and a large covered picnic area.

I haven't really been up here since I was a boy so I thought it would be fun. The trailhead is unbelievably improved. Great loop. Great scenery. Lots of memories.

I love Saddlerock. It's my favorite local go to spot! Great year round. A lot of different trails. Dog friendly, which is a must for me! Terrain can be steep and loose, so be prepared. Good hiking shoes highly recommended.....

Beautiful views! Not sure if we made it all of the way, but we were close. The trail was well packed down until the end part then it was a little deep in places. Just hiked in regular hiking boots and they worked well!

Short and very accessible hike. Great for a last minute quick hike. Visiting for the Holidays I chose to go Dec.24 at 7:30 am ... cold yes 12F and ground covered by snow, but the view was totally worth it. It can get slippery so wear proper hiking boots and hiking poles are a great idea **

It’s rainy and foggy, but still a nice hiking.

First time here with my wife. Great hike with amazing views of Wenatchee, the valley and Columbia river. From the peaks you can see Rocky Reach Dam to the north and Rock island to the south. I don`t agree with the "easy" rating, it is at least "moderate". The elevation gain is up to 1500` and very steep if you take a right at the fork going up fhe face of the peaks. If you go left it`s a much gentler assent but still not "easy" because you gain the same elevation. Temperature was in the upper 50`s and we were sweating and breathing hard going up. Summertime "yikes"!
Overall a great hike right in our backyard. Will be coming back often.

Great trail, beautiful scenery,

Mostly forest road limited single track. Good for dogs in the summer as they get a good swim. No signage to follow so refer to your google map.
