good hike. easy. beautiful scenery and friendly ppl. but please please keep ur dogs on a leash....out of respect for other ppl with dogs. its just plain rude.

We enjoy walking our dog here. Beautiful water views along the way. This last time I got a great close up video of an eagle. We love the beauty here and how conveniently close it is.

Super cool. Fun to walk around.

This trail is nice. Well maintained and has a beautiful creek at the bottom. There's also different routes to exit off of the trail if you would like to make it shorter.

The inclines are manageable and get the heart rate going. In addition, there are paved roads at the top of the trail that allow you to add distance to your hike.

The one draw back is inconsiderate dog owners who allow their dogs to run free 100s of feet ahead of them. for a person who doesn't like dogs this is very annoying!

But overall one of my favorites!!!

Sunday was a beautiful day for a quiet low impact family walk. Breseman is just over 1 1/2miles. There's a flowing creek that we enjoyed crossing by balancing on logs and the walk is pretty shaded with a canopy of mature trees. Our 9 year old daughter enjoyed climbing the rock mountain. Parking was free and convenient to the trail at Sprinker.

Good trail for a strong workout and to be in nature. Some parts are very narrow and elevated so falling would be disastrous. I wouldn’t recommend the full trail for little kids, and proper hiking boots are essential.

Went early on a Friday morning. So it was basically empty. Well I was walking, my husband was doing the Mt. Bike section. Which he had fun. They have easy & difficult. But best to come really early for that, since it gets packed.

Beautiful walk along chambers Bay. I have done this several times but I usually run it. This time I walked it with my boy and we had a great time. I see the aesthetics on this trail and he sees everything as a jungle gym. We made the trail a point to point as my I didn’t want to walk along the road for half the trail.

Beautiful views of the Olympic mts and puget sound. Perfect for a leisurely stroll.

They failed to inform you that this park is closed for “upgrading” all the trails are closed and you can’t drive on the bridge. It is all blocked off with fencing. Riddled with homeless people camping since park rangers or the city doesn’t watch it anymore since it closed down. Don’t waste your time.

Good trail that is conveniently located for a last minute afternoon walk. Easy trail.

Wonderful trail, but this is actually called Chambers. Also, it's in University Place, not Tacoma!

Myself and 3 kids did this hike this morning before the rain hit. The kids loved the bridges and bird watching. The trail isn't really marked but it's obvious. We met many friendly people along the way and felt very comfortable. I'm not in great shape but had no issues in my sneakers. Some parts of the trail are narrow from washouts but still easily traversed. We will be back!

Actually counts as both hiking and biking as we rode the outer loop (but I had to hike some of the hills

I didn’t know this hike had a name. I always called it “the gulch”. It’s part of my 4 mile loop run that leads out to commencement bay. I do sprint this mile because When female and running alone it can be kinda eerie at dusk; it would seem like a easy place for transients or other mischievous people to hang out. But cool (temp) and nice scenery. If you take it up past the steps that lead to Proctor, it will spit you out on Mason and 35th, I believe.

Easy walk. Views included: Old quarry, the Tacoma Sound, lots of trees and snow capped montains on the west. A small foot bridge extends over the railroad tracks to the "Sound". The bridge includes a small collection of padlocks left by couples in love. There are bathrooms at the start and half way. Lots of dogs and baby strollers on the path. Easy to find.

Gorgeous views and great changes in levels. This will be a regular weekend visit.

The map didn’t match any of the 3 main marked trails nor road. Still a fin hike but map was iseless on this hike

I hiked this trail today, although, I didn't use this app today. nice hike

The trail is not paved but easy for children. It’s a great learning experience for all ages since there’s a wonderful nature center with fun activities on the site. There’s a really nice play area too for the kids to play on. Great place for educational learning about ponds, watershed animals, water cycle and nature outdoors.

Such a beautiful trail my girls loved wadding in the creek and it’s an easy path for toddlers. We really enjoyed this trail. There’s also some big boulders for climbing with the older kids near the entrance. A great place for a family day outdoors.

Love this trail I do it often. Lots of people come here but it’s still pretty peaceful with great views.

This is a great little hike on an unpaved trail. It was really beautiful, especially along side the creek. Parking lot is at Sprinker, we actually passed by it, so keep a look out as the entrance is right next to the big parking lot near the woods. We did this trail on a Sunday and it was not busy at all. There is another walking area almost right across the street at Spanaway Lake, it is a paved trail and since we were there we decided to do both. So glad we did bc I had no idea that Spanaway Lake was that big! Super fun day and do both trails!

This is a great hike that I highly recommend with a partner. I don’t recommend single female hikers as some of the people on the trail seem a little shady and a few smoking pot. The trail is an average challenge which is great for beginners and a great trail to practice on. It is a quiet scenic trail, very few people on a weekends and even quieter during the week. I plan on using this trail as my training trail for a big backpack trip this summer. I think the average person will be surprised by all the beauty.

Make sure tide is out or you wont make it around the bend

A great hike for the area. There are some hilly areas and stairs. It was beautiful today but I wish I would have brought my walking sticks.

This isn’t your typical urban trail. I made the mistake of not wearing my hiking boots and just wore my trail shoes, I was still able to hike it, but I would have felt more stable with my boots. There is one washout across the trail but it easy to walk through.

Love this trail , hiked it for the third time today ! So many side trails to cut in and out of makes for a wonderful adventure. Views views and more views . I recommend this hike rain or shine

Overall a great trail. Decent elevation gain, a nice workout. Because of the recent storms, a couple areas of the trail are partially washed out. One area in particular was tricky with kids and dogs. Not impassable, just watch your footing. Some icy spots I don't expect to clear up soon, but obviously not a spring and summer problem. :)
