A nice, easy walk, can be a little muddy.

Great walk! The gorge winds made it an epic climb up the switchbacks. Totally worth going to the top.

A nice, easy walk through the woods with some gentle changes in elevation and good viewpoints.

Great trail for beginners like me! Clean and fresh air. No dog poop.

Went on a Friday afternoon, not very crowded was a short hike to falls. Was a decent hike up the hill after the falls to the junction with the John Wayne trail. Will do more often as we cross the pass.

Gorgeous view if you can make it to the top. Although without the GPS of AllTrails the trail can be a bit deceiving the last few miles. Wet snow first 2 miles and after you are rewarded with a winter wonderland scenery. Be aware of possible avalanche area that is close to the edge.

It was an amazing hike with no snow until the DNR portion of the trail past Upper Falls.

Most of the trail is closed off, try doing it in a year or two if fixed...

Not breathtaking, but it's a fun day. My five year old was tired at the end but had so much fun. We will definitely do it again.

This trail is popular, so I would recommend hiking on weekdays. It’s the perfect amount of challenging climbs with gradual trails, throughout many different types of geography. Totally worth it for the view—though the best views are just before the summit (I would say). Wear proper hiking footwear!

Hiked to Lake 22 on Saturday and the parking lot was full and slightly icy. Had to park across the street in the entrance of the second lot, as that was completely covered in snow and a car got stuck trying to go in. The hike is really pretty easy, definitely icy and lots of snow. The lake is starting to thaw and there was a high avalanche warning, but it seemed safe to me. Super beautiful!

Mostly incline, but manageable. Nice tranquil hike, well maintained, well marked, no bathroom facilities. Parking off road.

Great trails system thru out the whole park. easy access to nice flat stony beach with a lagoon. almost all trails are NICELY wheelchair accessible. Beautiful views of Puget sound and Mt. Rainier. dogs on leash only.

awesome Monday hike, the meadow with a view was a surprise.

Got to the parking lot around 2:00 pm and found a spot right in the main lot. Weather was gorgeous and the hike was amazing. We hiked all the way to the upper falls. No snow anywhere and not a ton of people since we went later in the afternoon. Hiking beside the river part way was refreshing and all views of the falls were breathtaking! Definitely will be going back.

Beautiful day for a beautiful hike. Mix of dirt, water, slush and snow. Threw on the spikes about a quarter miles from the lake just to get there faster. Lots of people and a tight trail when you have to pull off to let people pass, you’ll go down a snow hole.

I did 8.18 miles today, did the loop and then a little more, I love this trail, saw so many deer & turkeys !!

Beautiful sunny, warm day for a beautiful hike. Tons of people and dogs. The trip was still gorgeous though. Good season opener.

03/11/18 - Beautiful as always. Lots of snow for a majority of the hike, a mix between slush at the bottom and packed at the top. Poles were helpful and I did not have trouble without microspikes, although there would definitely be benefits to having them.

Bring sunglasses!

is very nice the falls and everything

beautiful Place to Walk en relax with a nice view

Hiked up the ledge and to east point yesterday, spikes would have been helpful however I did it without. You can get by without just a little slippery towards the end. Great views and met some cool people along the way.

Beautiful views of water, islands and mountains - what more can you ask for?

Great day for family hike. Busy so we parked on the road outside parking lot. Not muddy and river views were exceptional. A little up and down to get to falls but well worth the effort. Great for kids of all ages!

Beautiful hike! We started at 12:30, and had to park a half mile away from the parking lot (that’s what we get for sleeping in). Unusually warm day for March, so there wasn’t any snow to be seen. Pretty packed trail and there were lots of families and dogs. Beautiful forested views, with sounds from the falls as the day’s ambient noise. Worth the view when you get to the upper falls, but the lower falls view was actually our favorite.

Definitely a nature walk v. a hike, but beautiful nonetheless! A great walk for kids and grownups just starting with trail walks. Changes from forest to beach. If you want a more challenging workout, hike up the hill and through the camping area. A great sunny morning walk, close to home!

I wasn’t impressed with the trail , love the beach and picnic areas though, maybe my favorite

Fun for beginners like me, challenging hills but not too bad. Halfway through you get to the lake which is neat break

It was a gorgeous day to be up there. From Snowqualmie it’s about 10-11 miles round trip but it’s not too bad and the elevation gain is mostly gradual. Poles are extremely help and for the best view bring snowshoes because about a mile past the Grand viewpoint is a clear cut that you can explore, it has a view of Rainier as well.

Great trail be prepared for a hike. Uphill. The scenery is amazing when u get to the top!
