Very poorly marked trails. Thank goodness for cell phone location tracking because I ended up off the trail multiple times trying to figure out where to go.

The trail was pretty nice. It was paved and perfect for biking, but we were walking. This made the fact that the trail runs right along the highway irritating, but other than that it was pretty good

Great trail for beginners like me! Clean and fresh air. No dog poop.

Other than having to see the Waste Treatment Plant, this is a beautiful hike. The single track river portion was dry, but there is still plenty of wet snow on the inland portion. Bring your waterproof boots. ;-)

Trail is super narrow but very pretty. Still some snow in the wooded areas and quite muddy in areas.

Beautiful hike to the rocks on a crisp February day. We started out with the sun on our backs and snow on the trail. Higher we got less snow on the trail but the sun disappeared and got chilly.
Gorgeous view from the top. We ate lunch snapped some picks and headed down just before sundown.

It's a good little trail. We saw eagles, hawks, ducks and geese. There is a log across the trail but it wasn't hard to cross.

it's more fun in the snow and off trail! but be careful... lol

Nice trail, easy to hike, however snow spikes are highly recommended in the winter. Nice view of the city. Conveniently located can get to even in a small car. No restrooms other than a pit toilet that is yucky. Definitely will hike again.

Good all around. easy trail. lots of branching off options. easily marked trail heads. :)

Finished the hike but there is a lot of ice and snow and mud from the runoff. Would definitely wait till it’s warmer out. Beautiful view though!

Looks like a nice trail. We went part way in and weren’t prepared for the ice/snow-covered trail. Will try again when the weather is warmer.

We went off the trail and got some priceless photos, it was amazing and not to hard as long as you take your time :)

Beautiful hike. Missing signage makes it hard to know if you’re on a trail or not

Great place to sneak in a quick hike. Easy to get off the main trail because of false trails or missing signage.

great spot, easy to find. if you go right now (jan.) you might want to bring microspikes. the trail is iced over completely.
will be back when we get fresh snow to go snowshoeing

Pretty hike but very poorly marked, it was hard to figure out which trail to take especially in the snow. I had to track myself on the app so I wouldn’t get lost.

We love this hike! My girls have done this with me too, they are 7 and 4... We brought snacks and took breaks but they did it! At the bottom, there are a lot of butterflies to catch and look at, which the girls just love. I have also seen a moose towards the top! I love having this trail so close to home.

A very peaceful walk during the lovely fall.

Nice easy hike! Had a quick picnic at the bench at the top. Good hike for the fur babies.

Fun had by all, excepts for beans

Nice trail when not flooding season, relatively easy walking trail, beats a sidewalk in the city.

Great, convenient spot for training to do real mountain hikes and climbs. Too much litter, graffiti, and too many splits to recommend it for anything but training or watching Felts Field. I run it with a 30lb pack for endurance, and climb rocks here and there, but people ruin the nature aspect.

Beautiful day today!

whenever I have visitors in town Nd we do a stop in Spokane we always seem to do this trail. Kind if fun leisurely walk

Did this Oct 24 from the east side. Only ran into one other hiker. Trail well signed at the junctions. RT was 5 miles mostly easy with a few steep sections at the start and near the top. Various viewpoints along the trail were just as good as summit which has radio towers present. Overall nice hike fairly close to town.

There are many trails with much less of a climb than the Minnehaha Loop, if you are a Spokane mountainbiker then I recommend this place...there is a little skills park and trails from XC to tech...very fun lots of jumps too.

There was a lot of climbing involved, I would do it again but after going up once I was too tired, so I went home...do not recommend if it is your first time on a mountain bike trail.

great hike close to town
