Great trail for beginners like me! Clean and fresh air. No dog poop.

Still snow and ice in spots on 03/10/18. I liked that it was nicely paved and taken care of, but don’t think I’ll be back. Kinda one of those things where you do it once and then don’t feel the need to come back.

3/11/18 Muddy starting up the left side and icy coming down the right.

Great hike! Went counter clockwise and glad we did since it was quite muddy on the way down (probable last mile or so). Great viewing points once you get to the top. Dogs are allowed and it was noticed a lot of owners do not pick up after them so just watch your step. Overall great hike and would like to come back in the summer.

Trail is super narrow but very pretty. Still some snow in the wooded areas and quite muddy in areas.

Fun to do the whole loop. Has some steep parts. We always bring lunch to eat on the rocks at the top and enjoy the view of the Palouse.

It's a good little trail. We saw eagles, hawks, ducks and geese. There is a log across the trail but it wasn't hard to cross.

it's more fun in the snow and off trail! but be careful... lol

The main trail was packed enough to not need snowshoes. We walked through some of the smaller trails as well, but snowshoes would have been nice to have on those. Just enough new snow to not be icy, but it will be soon. We only saw one other person this morning and had a great view from the top on a sunny day.

Good all around. easy trail. lots of branching off options. easily marked trail heads. :)

Beautiful views of spokane and a great short 3 mile hike!

Icy and muddy, but totally worth it

great spot, easy to find. if you go right now (jan.) you might want to bring microspikes. the trail is iced over completely.
will be back when we get fresh snow to go snowshoeing

WAY too crowded!

A very peaceful walk during the lovely fall.

Very nice trail on a lovely, pretty day!

Fun had by all, excepts for beans

snowy a little muddy and slippery, but beautiful!

Nice trail when not flooding season, relatively easy walking trail, beats a sidewalk in the city.

Beautiful day today!

Nice hike, fairly easy, the trail is a combo between walking along the river and a paved road. You have to walk on the road and then it turns into centennial trail which is paved. At least half of the trail is in paved road.

Parking is plentiful.

whenever I have visitors in town Nd we do a stop in Spokane we always seem to do this trail. Kind if fun leisurely walk

Went up yesterday with 5 kids ages 3-11. Great place to let them roam and climb and learn about the after effects of wildfire in certain spots. The favorite activity was boulder climbing and running through the snow field. Need to bring a towel next time to wipe their shoes before getting in car. Great views of the city. Flat trails.

Very easy loop. Great for kids, lots of freedom for them to run. Busy yet still private. Love the different landscapes throughout loop.

Really beautiful hike with great views of Spokane. Definitely follow the trail map if it’s your first time because there are a few places where it’s not clear.

Did this Oct 24 from the east side. Only ran into one other hiker. Trail well signed at the junctions. RT was 5 miles mostly easy with a few steep sections at the start and near the top. Various viewpoints along the trail were just as good as summit which has radio towers present. Overall nice hike fairly close to town.

Views are nice, just a little short for a run.

Visiting from CA, was a nice place to take a morning run.

Nice afternoon hike
