Been there on 2018/09/08. Good 3 Mile Walk around the lake. Paved road throughout the trail and beautiful lake. Kids play area and rest rooms at multiple points. Best place to spend time walking together as family.

They have a wading pool which you can dip your feet in and is great for kids to play in. There's a little pond with loads of ducks in by the reservoir but no other bodies of water, like lakes, that you can access.
I went up the tower and the views are great, the conservatory was really nice too with lots of exotic plants.

A short and very easy trail but nice if you bring a book or just want a breath of fresh air without hiking up a mountain!

Not too far from Capitol Hill link light rail station, just head up the main street then down roy street and you'll find the park on the right.

Love going for long runs on this trail

8/12/2018 (Sunday) -- Flat easy loop with awesome lake view around wetland and "Kite Hill" for 1 to 1.5 hours in a dry, warm, cloudy day. Very pleasant.

You can never go wrong with a stroll along the beach. Loved this.

A great way to just 'get out of the city ' without having to drive out of the city. Beautiful area.

Seward Park is one of my favorite places in Seattle. Love it.

More of a nature walk. All the same it was gorgeous. And we had a grand ol time. Went with my three kids: 6,4,1

The great intersection of this city. Yes it’s crowded but it’s still beautiful and a great place to walk/run/bike/skate/swim and get some exercise. Makes for good people watching and there’s always something going on. If you want to go someplace to connect with the energy of the city, this is the place!

this is a great urban riding paved type trail.

I’m a new hiker and not in the best shape so I was hoping for a bit more signage or clearly marked trails. A friend and I took large paths and as we were walking and taking turns the trail would eventually disappear or lead to fenced off areas. We had to turn around and loop back a few times. I’ve never found a super well cleared trail down to the beach only some cinderblock stairs that lead to the back of the parking lot. The beach has great views and you can have a lot of fun after a light walk.

it's what you'd expect of an urban trail.. lots of people, especially bicyclists, but the trail is quite wide, features a nice view of the bridge and the water and Gas Works Park is a neat park all on its own, featuring views of the Seattle skyline and is a great place to end.

I took away a star because the bathroom stalls aren’t big enough to push a stroller into and there’s no changing tables. But this park is beautiful, I love the coast and environment. We’ll definitely be going back.

Awesome, took the trail from Bothell to Matthews park. Very nice ride, beautiful views of the water from the trail and parks along the way.

Beautiful

Easy, great people watching and beautiful for sunsets, meeting friends and an easy place to get a little space in the big city

I have walked around GL for over 30 years (doing it this morning at 76). While the natural scene is great - birds of many feathers, raccoons, trees, it’s the people watching that provides the most most variety! You can get a “peak” of Mount Rainier, see it freeze, or walk around at night with Luminarias to guide you.

I run here almost everyday. It’s an easy 2.8 mile loop with nice, changeable scenery. The people-watching is pretty great, and there’s plenty of wildlife for such an urban setting - I’ve seen bald eagles and other birds of prey, in addition to the ducks and geese (now with their little broods since it’s Spring!). If you’re in Seattle and need a nice running route, this is it.

The waterfront along Lake Union is beautiful. There is a museum and paddle sports rentals and multiple eateries to check out. It is great for a Sunday stroll.

The lake is very serene and the multitude of bird species are quite used to all the human foot traffic. It is paved and a great place for a walk, bike ride, stroller or jog.

So beautiful!!! It's a little weeknight escape for me when I can't wait till the weekend to get my fill of nature

It is a nice clean trail. You can either walk on pavement or on gravel. It can get very crowded however and then you have to focus more on maneuvering around people than the scenery of the park.

5/3/2018 (Thursday) - Start from Montlake/WA520, pass through the park by Azalea Way, then go along Madison St to the lakeside park (Madison Beach). Azalea in the park has not been in full blossom yet. It takes about 70 minutes for a relaxed walk. A very pleasant city walk in a luxurious residential/commercial district. The view across the lake is awesome.

Very nice my trail. It is my favorite trail with green river trail.

Great but crowded place for a walk or a run.

Great scenery, rain or shine... for those who want to swim in the lake...On top the lake (boat, kayak, etc.) cool, in it, oh my no.

Honestly best enjoyed on a bike and with some patience.

Biking douche bag's recreating a Tour De France time trial , Passive aggressive's unleashing their pent up anger, neck beard's of sweat & stale IPA's, yup it's the Burke.

Beautiful and peaceful. It's Seattle though and the homeless will at times camp out here but in my many, many strolls through here, I've never had an issue with them.

A beautiful day today. Lots of people out with their friends, families, and dogs.
