Great day hike. Lots of people on the trail. Kid and pet friendly. We weren't able to make it all the way around. The trail is up hill and my basset hound started limping so we had to go back early.

Fantastic hike today; sunny and 52 degrees. Can’t beat that for end of January. Trail is busy at the trailhead but clears out as you go higher. It’s quite a climb in elevation, too. Great views and chilly at the top but well worth the time. This is a great hike to work out your calves and get your heart rate up. I loved it!

Rainy 28F. Clockwise hike. Great

Early morning before sunrise hike up badger Mt. Good views of the TC and a cold, calm morning. Great short hike and 5 mins from home.

Great place to have an easy hike. this all volunteer maintained trail is nestled between the city and the Yakima river. As part of the Tapteal waterway trail, it is relatively flat with many opportunities to explore the flora and fauna of a Russian Olive and Willow forest. The colder months provide bug free hiking, but be prepared to deal with tics during the spring and summer. These trails are excellent for both hiking and mountain biking.

It was an easy hike, mostly windy in January. Nice for a weekend quick hike.

Came on probably the last sunny day of fall. a crisp 55 degree day with my dog and i didn’t see a single other person out on the trails! if you follow the trails in toward to river and take whatever path feels right in the moment it can lead you to some very pretty sights of leaves completely covering the ground and being about to go straight down to the yakima. it was really nice, will definitely be back.

Went last night with 4 dogs and a 3 family members. I only saw one other party on the trail. Night hikes on a clear quiet evening promise a beautiful view of the Tri-cities lights at night.

Great view up top

Great for long boarding/biking. Great view

Not bad, not lots of traffic as it is mostly secluded. Great for mountain biking.

Pretty cool hike. Nice change from the nearby Badger Mountain as there is less traffic. Great view

Not bad, best in spring before it gets too hot. Better go early to beat traffic.
