I love this trail it’s close to home and In a very nice community. The trail is very well marked for the echo trail. Also are many other trails to explore. View is very easy to find as long as you keep going up the hill. If you follow a path here without a sign with the arrow pointing in the direction then you will reach a dead end or realize you went the wrong way. Follow the signs it’s super easy and a nice workout for a family or you and your dog.

Great hike close to home. The falls were dry today but really enjoyed the peacefulness.

Loved this hike. A nice challenge close to home. Beautiful this time of year.

Gorgeous but either I’m a nimrod or this trail is not well marked. I never saw a sign for Echo loop trail however we stumbled across Echo mountain which was a extremely steep trail. Made it to nearly the top when my sister shouted down to me “end of trail”. Slid/walked back down trail while grabbing every branch possible to keep from tumbling down the trail. Drank all my water while climbing up fucking mountain. Hiked along flat trail after mountain climbing for 30 min or so and back to car.
Still enjoyable despite never finding echo loop trail. The end

Rode with friend yesterday. Nice peaceful.

Biking with family nice trails

Nice brief hike if you’re in the area. Good for bigger kids :-)

Whitaker trail becomes Deceiver. Short but good incline up 2 hills. Lots of shade for sunny days and several bridges and log walkways over creeks and marsh. We took Shy Bear back to make it a partial loop.

Nice trail .

Great trail with a good amount of hills. Good for cardio.

Really nice trail for biking. One thing not so good I notice though, dog poops left on the trail!

Fun trail for walking

Easy trail off Coal Creek trail. Not heavily populated. Easy to walk.

Went late morning on a Sunday. Only saw a couple of people. It was a great little hike.

Fun, easy trail. Took our 2 dogs and it was easy for them. Lots to see. Ran into a few people on the trail but not too populated. There was no waterfall, it was dry. Cool seeing the old mine and other great historical markers!

Completely dry

limited parking, good for little children.

The trail hike is beautiful with dense trees/bushes with birds chirping around you (summer). The peak of Cedar Mountain is not spectacular, but you can see Mt Rainier between distant trees nicely. I read other reviews of this trail regarding mosquitos. True. I would advise bringing mosquito repent (if summertime). They are not over-whelming, but there are a few annoying ones along the trail. I tried out the trail "PRO" version for the first time and glad I used the GPS tracker on the trail map - there are many intersections, thus the tracker was extremely helpful so that I always knew exactly where I was on the map. Bottom line: nice little hike.

Pleasant trail

My golden retriever pup and I enjoyed this trail very much last weekend.

nice n relaxing trail

Beautiful easy walk. I also like that for the majority of the trail, bikes and dogs aren’t allowed. Not that I hate cyclists or dogs; it’s just nice to have a trail for pedestrians only as an option.

We enjoyed this hike. Gorgeous terrain. Many teens and an oasis just past a residential area in Renton. Who knew!?

Did my first hike of this trail this weekend. Easy to access. need a discovery pass to park. But it was very nice. Wild Salmonberries on the path, and tons of little side areas and alternate routes to explore! When you get to the peak, it is serene and clear. Nothing too crazy or strenuous either.
