This was my first hiking experience. I enjoyed it very much! Some of the areas are a little steep and muddy! I could go here any day!

Great place for a walk, bike riding, and walking the dog. Clean and several trash cans for disposing of garbage. Super friendly people on the trail with clear directions posted to get around.

What a gem of trails in the forest! I’ve explored some of the lower trails leading to a bridge and by the fish hatchery in the past years.
After getting a fit bit and wanting to add more steps to my day I decided to take advantage of this wonderful park just outside my home within walking distance. Just this last week I ventured up further into the park off the main trail onto many smaller, steeper trails; one hike 3.8 miles and today 5.4! I must say it’s easy to get lost —but used my GPS maps to guide myself back to the main trail. If you go to explore, start early in the day, bring water, fully charged phone with this app or use your gps on maps and have fun!

I love to hike steep mountains, but this trail was *perfect* for taking my toddler and small dog out for a walk in the woods. Wide path. Smooth pavement. Clean! And everyone I passed was very friendly. There are also ball fields and playgrounds on each end of the trail to give the family some variety.

nice, clean, easy walk
parking is terrible.
come early for a walk

I’ve always done the flat trail from Clark’s Creek to Decoursey Park, circling the lake and heading back. Easy Peasy and was sort of what we had planned to do. Until I saw another trail head further down the parking lot. Let’s start here I said!!! Ha ha, the trail is completely unmarked, little did we know we would soon be hitting so many possible directions to go... some lead to dead ends, many with steep terrain, because of the rain there was a lot of mud, fallen logs..... where the heck are we???? Oh my Gosh! Today the weather was bi - polar, the best part was the torrential rains and one of us being dressed unprepared. It was absolutely fantastic! I cannot wait to do it again and soon!! Even though we only passed like 5 people during the first 2.5 mi trek, it felt very safe and it is very clean. It was a great “longer than expected” journey of “where the heck are we” and even if we were so tired when we finally reached the ballpark (unfortunately we did not make it for the Decoursey walk around the pond across the road) we had a blast. Next time we will bring trekking poles, wait for a sunny day and bring water. When we finally got back to our vehicle my Fitbit said we did 5.1 mi. It was a wonderful find, a true gem and gets your heart pumping!

Nice little walk around a lake. Feels safe, good place to get your steps in. And it's a park so bring a picnic!

Very beautiful trail but since it branches so often I strongly suggest someone install trail markers and a map at the parking lot. I got magnificently lost.

Mountain bikers would love the side trails

I love coming here. It’s a very nice park

Nice and convenient to take the dog for a walk.

it's a very popular park with an easy to walk path around the lake. people need to pick up after their dogs and carry it out. A good place if you just a nice walk.

This was a beautiful hike/walk. Lots of small trails off the main trail. I got lost for a second trying to get back to the main trail but found my way back. I followed the trail map from here most of the way as not to end up on a different trail. All in all a great place to visit and i plan to go back again.

This is a great trail for walking, running, biking and strollers. The main path is pathed and easy to pass others. It’s a nice stroll and we even ran into 2 young deer on the path.

This park is easy peasy. A great place for families, strollers and older people. There are very few outside trails away from the paved paths. With a playground, baseball fields and picnic areas. The lake seems to produce a lot of fishermen fishing from the shores. It’s a great place if wanting to run or jog on smooth pavement with no inclines. I came on a sunny Saturday and there was very limited parking and the park was packed. A great place for dog walkers, which is why we came. Overall it is very nice.

Nice cool day for quick 30 minute walk

Great family Park and trail. It is stroller friendly with great play area. Trail is great for dog walking. The lake provides fishing opportunities as well.

Very few people here because of the light snow flurry coming down and the cold temperature. A nice quick quiet walk on the gravel path on the way home from doing errands.

We walk here almost daily. Easy, paved trails, kids love to bike while I walk/run.

Good walk, quiet and well maintained. It was cold and a little bit of ice on the two bridges but a good day out none the less.

Great park. I take my kids there often.

Nice cool day for a brisk walk

Excellent, just a little slippery after a rain.

Nice cool day for a great walk. A lot of friendly people on the trail today.

Great walk to the bridge and back. Picked up one 20oz Coke bottle and the detached cap along the trail and threw them in the trash.

In the last 9 days I have lost 7lbs taking the supplements every evening that I mentioned in my previous review. I've been too busy to get out and walk or hike since starting the supplements, thats really good progress without any exercise. Doing exercise a few times a week will help lose the weight a bit quicker and improve my overall strength and stamina.

A windy day, great for walking. I was a few minutes faster then last time and not sore. Couple small pieces of garbage picked up and put in a trash can. Also picked up a few branches on the trail and threw them off into the bushes.

Found up three AAA batteries along the trail and put them in the trash. Overall the trail and park are very clean with the trash cans available. Anytime I'm out walking or hiking I'm going to have a plastic grocery bag in my pocket in case I find more trash then I want to carry with my hands. I have a couple 13 gallon trash bags in my hiking pack and will add in a few plastic grocery bags too.

Wow I am outta shape! Last year I was walking the whole trail in about 40 minutes. Today I went to the water fountain and back to the parking lot and was a few seconds shy of 50 minutes. Going to the water fountain was a bit to far, I shoulda turned around at the bridge. I might pay for it tomorrow being a bit sore, if so will rest. Will be out later this week for a bit shorter walk to build my stamina.

Cool weather and a great day for a walk. Picked up four bottle rocket sticks on the path, one with a live rocket and fuse attached. Threw them in the trash.

Took my pup here for the first time and loved it. We walked but at a guick pace the whole way. We did the circle twice. I will definitely go back
