Went up last week and it was beautiful seeing everything covered in snow and ice. The steps were pretty icy but good hiking boots will help keep you off your backside.

Hiked this trail in September. The weather was perfect, and the trail was beginner level. Hiking in Olympic National Park is like hiking through a dreamland.

Well managed trail, fairly busy, but the waterfall is spectacular.

Easy climb, and tons too see. The waterfall is great.

tried to go to this one yesterday, trail was closed. There was an advisory on the website about some roads being closed due to landslides, but this wasn't one of them.

This was such a beautiful hike!!! All the lakes were amazing and you definitely need to stop to swim in them. I would recommend to do it over the course of 2 or 3 days. We took 3 days in August and had time to enjoy all the views and lakes, trail conditions at this time were perfect! This is absolutely a must do.

Simple out and back trail with lots of photo spots along the way. Got a little hilly at the end but even for two out of shape hikers we got along just fine. Make sure you go past the first waterfall because there's a much larger one at the end... we almost turned around but other hikers told us the big one was another 10 minutes away.

Went today, October 28 2017.... 100% worth the trip. The waterfall is phenomenal! Absolutely breathtaking! Short and easy hike, good for us since is was the last stop of the day. Recommend for everyone of all hiking abilities.

Excellent trail, though it can get quite busy. Once at the falls, if you have some time you should also walk a little bit on Lovers' Lane trail for views from the opposite side of the river.

Beautiful forest, one of my favorites in Olympic National Park! It's a very busy trail, but checking out the Sol Duc Falls is definitely worth it!

this trail was beautiful and the falls are spectacular

Small fall and easy hiking

Easy hike in the early morning with plenty of shade. Lots of exposed roots on the trail making it easy to trip and fall. Beautiful falls at the end of this trail that I was able to enjoy all by myself in quiet solitude.

Hard trail, but absolutely spectacular. Views of Mt Olympus, bears, beautiful ridge lines and the basin. Bugs in early August were horrendous, I would highly suggest a head net, spray, and long sleeves.

Nice hike, amazing waterfall.

Very pleasant and easy hike to a beautiful waterfall.

great little trail. .8mi in and then out. the water falls are nice and the trail is equal up and down for the out and back legs. $25 to get through the gate just for the water fall. $35 to get into Yosemite and this is no Yosemite. would not do again.

Such a great hike. Beautiful scenery along the way and a great view at the end. ❤️

Short but sweet. Lots of trees and ferns.

Great, Easy trail for family with a 20 month old. He walked most of the way, and the trail is flat enough it was easy to carry him on my shoulders when he didn't want to walk. Parking lot off Sol Duc Hot Spring road has grassy area and picnic tables that was nice to eat lunch at before setting off. Falls are neat with the three prongs and I love the bridge!

I took my wife and daughter up there yesterday. and it was the perfect trail for a small child

Great hike. Kid friendly and very scenic.

Great little hike, nice and easy, I took my 9 yr old. There is a bit of a climb up to be able to get to the viewing point of the falls, and it's a little steep going down. Would most likely be a bit challenging for someone with with achey bones. All in all it was a beautiful trail for us who at the time of going were newbies to hiking.

This was a great short hike to a beautiful falls. It could easily be combined with other trails in the area (Lover's Lane, Deer Lake etc), but it was a rainy day so we kept it short.
