Great late November hike - we had the trail to ourselves. Cold but clear weather made for perfect conditions. The few muddy areas were frozen but footing was excellent. The trail lived up to its name - icicles and all!

Had a beautiful day hiking Icicle Gorge Trail. Lovely well maintained easy level trail that follows Icicle Creek. The views along the river are so pretty with falls, rapids and calm pools. Some parts under the huge trees were completely gold due to needles on the paths.

Not much to see and right by road so very loud

Wonderful, simple morning walk right in town. Saw a mule.deer multiple times, including as it SWAM to Blackbird Island. Flat, easy, and many intersecting trails for variety with no chance of getting lost.

Trail conditions were excellent. Easy walk paralleling the river. Gorgeous!! I'm not sure if I went all the way to the end. I turned around when it got much narrower and more "mountain goat-y". Total round trip was about 50min, so probably covered 2 or so miles.

Walked this trail late July with family, incl 11yo. Compacted, flat dirt/gravel trail, heavily trafficked. Nice views of river, small animal life, birds incl. bald eagles.

Great walk along the river, trees are changing colors so very picturesque. Flat trail that is easy for most. Highly recommend!

An easy trail that is great for a quick hike. There were a couple of downed trees along the trail, but they were easy to climb over. We had our dogs with us and it was easy to do with them. The trail is very obvious up to the lake. The lake is very clear and calm, very beautiful. I wish it was a little easier to explore around the lake, but the views were decent even still. I would recommend this trail if you're in the area. I saw a lot of reviews about bugs but this time of year there were none! Only complaint I have is another hiker who had his dog off leash. Please follow the rules and leash your dog.

Great trail, easy, very picturesque and beautiful this time of year. Lovely right along the river.

Great quick hike for getting out and stretching your legs while in Leavenworth. The fall colors were gorgeous. Even saw some salmon in the river from the sandy beach. Had a fun time.

Thos trail is bursting with colour right now!

Easy, flat hike! Took our dog along this trail mid October. The fall colors were out and completely gorgeous. It follows the river and has lovely views. I would hike it again.

saw several deer crossing the river - magical!

As advertised...... Beautiful views of the lake and river and pretty yellow maples turning. Good walk for someone needing a gentle walk in nature. The hill is short and otherwise trail is wide and easy walking. When you leave day parking area go straight ahead and then right (we went left to the bridge) which is not the loop!!! Still beautiful fall day - perfect for us.

Great family friendly trail with beautiful views of the river that is easily accessible from the trail.

Absolutely unreal experience. I had the trail to myself today after a fresh snow. The lower half of the trail has a dusting to 2 inches of snow on it. The upper trail has 4 to 8 inches. The snow-capped mountain and trees reflected on the flat calm lake and produced an unforgettable image. Highly recommend.

Nice flat hike. Lots of fall leaves. Just gorgeous.

Great 2hr hike. easy parking and babbling brook at entry is awesome. Short with steep slope. worked well for a large group. We enjoyed it first week of October. fall foliage views and awesome lake view with snow capped mountain. dynamic scenery. Recommend wearing layers and pants. Be careful for slick spots.

Easy uphill half mile hike from Glacier View Campground. Hidden Lake at the end of the trail is very beautiful and serene. There was a beaver lodge on the opposite shore. I was there in early October - great colors from the changing tree leaves reflecting on the water.

Parking is odd or nonexistent. Which isn't a bad thing I guess, had the whole trail to ourselves.

For someone like me that's balance is so bad I can't pass a field sobriety test sober it's a sure fire "5"! great views of the river and even has a log bridge to cross the river...trust me, it is cut flat and has guard rails for the "balanced challenged". TIP: when you start and the trail goes right or left...go left. it's the best of the trail and if you can't make the loop you can see the best with an out and back in about 2.5 mile trek. Good luck and enjoy!
