Was a good quick hike. Use the app because the trail is not marked.

Great, short, easy trail. Another heavy snowfall and freezing temps and snowshoes will be needed. Gaiters and waterproof boots worked well today!

Lovely walk along the river. The bridge is flooded, so wear waterproof boots.

HikingGreat!Snow

What a beautiful trail that loops around Icicle Creek. Snow is intermittent, and slick in spots. Very little elevation. The trail is very well maintained. Bathroom was clean, but will need to bring some TP. The road coming in was fine till you get to the snow as it covers the potholes.

HikingGreat!

Hiked this on 11/9 with a group of athletic 20-somethings. It was exactly what we wanted for the day, very easy and relaxing after a challenging hike the day before. Conditions were great, a bit wet in places but otherwise ideal. The woods were beautiful but not as mind blowing as some other trails we did this week. Couple of felled trees on the trail that required stepping over.

HikingGreat!

Easy walk along the river and through great fall foliage. Signs posted of mother bear and Cubs in area so be vigilant but this is a popular and often crowded walk and I highly recommend.

This is a very pleasant, easy, short trail. The view of the rapids at the end is excellent. It probably would have got four stars on a warm day as I enjoy everything twice as much in the sun. It would need to be longer with more excitement to be five stars. The bridge at the start is currently flooded and you have to go across stepping stones to get into the trail.

The trail is easy and chill, but view is not worthy considering that it’s far from seattle. We thought there are snows but actually aren’t. And the road condition is terrible.

Need to cross the covered bridge which has about 4 in inches of water in it but there are stones and wood placed strategically so just need to hold on and have good balance. beautiful hike!

I was a little confused about the trails layout and realized it was attached to the campground. I came in on the side road where AllTrails says the start is. I kept right and I was at the edge of the lake in no time. There were a few people I passed, but plenty of places to set up by yourself along the way. If you reach the end of the trail all the way to the right it just hits a private property line.

HikingIcyMuddySnow

Hiked 10/28/20. The road to the trailhead was snowy/muddy and had a few deep holes filled with water. The parking lot is also snow covered and icy. I recommend a car with a bit of height above the ground. There was snow all along the trail making it a tad slippery, but we managed in normal hiking shoes. It’s a short and quick trail once you’re there. Several spots to stop off and enjoy different views of the lake. We passed two other hiking groups while we were there.

Some snow, some puddles. Crossing the bridge the biggest obstacle, have boots/waterproof high hiking boots for the ice and deep puddles, up over my low cut Keens. Always have extra socks and shoes in the car for when you return!

Nice morning stroll along to river. Lots of deep water on the bridge near the beginning of the trail. Might want waterproof boots to get across the bridge. Over all nice hike.

This was a fun and beautiful trail! it was very easy, though there were a few spots of ice with no traction. we started left and looped around, which gave us beautiful river views at the beginning and then the rest of the trail was mostly forest and relaxing.

We had a blast!!!! The hike was seriously sooo dang gorgeous and there was sooo many views throughout the trail. It was a loop no”end” view mire so just views throughout but it was so pretty! Lots of bridges and tons of snow!!! Was quite slippery in some spots however, we had good shoes and did fine. Just right outside of Leavenworth. The bathrooms were sickening you’re better off peeing in the woods perfect for all ages groups there was no hills or anything it was an flat trail. We clocked almost 7 miles? I think we got a little lost but we had a great time!
