Excellent for running, biking and hiking. You have the Indian Canyon Golf Course along the trail if you head south, on this trek you also come across quit a few waterfalls and little ponds of water hidden in the rocks.

Beautiful views but Trail is an old Track Road and not in the best of shape. I understand it is soon scheduled for major upgrades in 2019. The trailhead facility itself was updated in the past several years. It is very nice. It has safe parking and a large covered picnic area.

Nice hike through the woods. When I got there (Monday) the parking lot was packed, but there are so many routes and trails in this park that the trail I was on was uncrowded! Really enjoyable waterfall and creek. No views, but I really enjoyed my walk. Nice and peaceful. Will return to do Long View Peak in a few weeks.

Love this hill

Nice quick hike with a waterfall in the middle.

The start was a little tricky to find, it’s across the street from the side you can park on right by a school bus sign. The hike itself was a breeze. Not too much elevation, on and off tree cover. Saw all of three other people despite there being quite a few cars parked. Overall very nice quick day hike.

beautiful trail that carries you through diverse scenery. very well marked, and lots of opportunities to shorten or lengthen your jaunt as you go. will definitely visit again!

Great hike! The views are amazing and it is fun to watch the paraglider.

great for kids and dogs. we will be back

Easy hike definitely not moderate. Only downside was it was not well marked but we didn't have too much issue navigating. Muddy. Pretty falls.

Awesome place to visit. The moss is literally covering almost all you see and the dense colors of green are incredible! Highly recommend visiting

We loved this trail and hiked to the falls. It was beautiful and would definitely go again. We hiked a total of about 8 miles.

This hike wasn’t tough. It’s easy not moderate. Signage was really bad, went the wrong way twice. Nice stroll though. Wear boots...there is a good amount of mud and 2-3 washed out sections.

Quick and easy hike without hardly any elevation change. The falls at the end of this trail are pretty. It was moderately trafficked in the middle of the day. There are a couple spots where you need to cross the water, so be prepared for that.

Nice easy trail for beginners. The trail can get narrow in spots which make it frustrating when multiple people try to pass. The trail is open to horses so you may need to step off the trail for the horses to pass.

The signage was a little misleading. We ended up on the Holder creek trail I think, which we do not recommend. You can hear the highway during the hike. If you stay on it long enough you end up on the side of the highway. The creek is nice though. And the trail is wide enough for two people at times.

So fun! And easy, great walk through the woods with abandoned cars along the way!

Beautiful, diverse trail. Deep Creek is currently unpassable due to water flow - cross on 7 Mile road. Tranquility was a bit marred by the sounds emanating from the ORV park, but the sights made up for it.

awesome views this is my first time being up here

very easy hike with such a gorgeous waterfall at the end. definitely worth the free hours in and out. definitely must on spots close to the falls.

It has a new entrance since the last time we were there. Cold at the top, a little foggy but great view and we did it in record time...for us...after a knee injury and a few years removed.

Didn’t know this consisted of several other trails which was nice but confusing since some trails aren’t marked on the map and caused us to go in circles LOL. But, was nice nonetheless.

Went with a few friends and it was amazing. I loved following the curve of the hill. :)

it is a amazing trail

Nice and easy stroll around the lake with good views of the Capitol and pretty close to downtown Olympia

this has become my go-to walking trail because it's close to my house. depending on which way you go from the start of the trail either the very end of it or the very beginning of it is very steep but a beautiful walk through the woods the rest of it is all nice and low and flat with a couple of Ravines over by the highway. the trails that cut through are not very well-marked but you get to see some beautiful old growth

Lightly trafficked?? Lol when we went it seemed to be a very busy trail. I think that’s changed now. Pretty hike though! Oh and there’s a super cute winery pretty close for after the hike!

It has a variety of paths to take and go one. Great for a wooded walk, some standing water, paths we went on didn't have any running water. Would be a mosquito fest in a lot of areas come springtime but overall good hike. Lots of area where you felt like the only one in the woods!

very nice, quiet & clean, trail head was a little hard to find at first...

My wife and I just went here last weekend with our stock 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. According to the signs we saw the Overland Loop Trail is NOT for 4x4's. It is only passable with atv's, dirt bikes, etc. However the Elfendahl Pass, which is located off of NE Elfendahl Pass Rd has a fairly large off road area for 4x4's. There are two entrances to the area. The first entrance has some big hills that may look intimidating but very easy. The second entrance which is the next left turn(when coming from Belfair) down a service road, then on your left hand side. This entrance has a rock garden for about 30 ft or so. Once in the park there are several different trails. My wife and I did 84S and Riff Raff with no real trouble. Trail 55 has some SERIOUS obstacles! NOT FOR STOCK 4x4's. This was our very first time off roading and I would definitely recommend this place for first timers, beginners, or people with stock 4x4's. Just be cautious that they are starting to increase the difficulty of some of the trails so I would recommend walking them for a couple hundred yards or so to make sure you are comfortable with it before getting into it.
