perfect running trail. just enough hills to make it a little challenging. even dirt road, so no issues of twisting an ankle.

Nice peaceful trail, but needs better signage

Just did the main trail. Not a lot to look at but nice and quiet. Next time will do the some of the other trails that wind in and out.

This is a well-marked area with trails for everyone - bike-only trails, hiking trails, trails for horse riding. The main trail around the park is a gravel road (although no motorized vehicles are allowed), so it’s not the prettiest, but it’s well groomed. Lots of smaller trails that offshoot the road, so while the main trail is only 2.7 miles, you can easily add mileage if you need more. Plenty of maps throughout so you don’t get lost. Some nice ascents and descents.

I have been on all of the Trails of the Rocky Creek Conservation Area of which there are about 6 different trails. This short little trail starts in the same place as three other trails so you have the opportunity to mix and match. This trail ends at the creek that has a sandy and rocky bottom and many blow downs by the creek. The entire trail is shaded by a pine and cedar forest canopy with fern and berry vine ground cover.

confusing in places, but overall nice little ride. having a bike shop in the middle was cool, you ride right by it. would be a good trail for a group ride.

just finished the southern 2/3 of this trail. not so hilly as the northern portion of the trail. It is confusing and not well marked, around some of the businesses.

Awesome for a walking group

The Cushman Trail provides a wide path to accommodate bikers, runners, and walkers. The first 3 miles (starting from 14th Ave NW trailhead) run close or right next to Highway 16, and the traffic noise can be overbearing at times. Overall, a great trail!

It is close to home, a safe hike, well kept and you can see a variety of trees, plants, flowers, animals and insects. We had a bunny out on our trail hike!

Great trail for running/training as it has many steep grade slopes (7-10%). Not much to see though, but could be because I was only on it Feb-Mar. Nice running surface for a stroller.

A bit hilly and hard to follow for a newbee to the trail. Would like to see a few more signs to help when the trail breaks at some city roads then picks back up down the way.

Great trail for locals to get some exercise. The only issue I had was I was nearly run down by a cyclist all geared up looking like he was headed to the olympics. He was going way too fast.

Good for bike riding or a nice walk.

Very close to Hwy 16 which produces a lot of road noise. Not very scenic. Lots of power lines.

They just opened phase 3 and the trail now goes all the way to Borgen Blvd. great trail for walking, running or biking.

good trail, can walk, run, jog, or bike. is paved.

Excellent trail for riding a bike or getting your run on. I leave from tacoma ride across the Narrows Bridge, get on this trail and have a blast. This trail is paved and great for riding, walking, or running. It is flat in parts but also has some great fast elevation gain on the way back. It gets pretty steep. Its great for interval training or muscle building. Or for just a fun fit walk.
