Evening hike up for epic wildflowers & eerie wildfire haze sunset- but remote wilderness summit experience completely ruined by fellow hikers using a drone circling summit ridge for over 30 minutes.
Inconsiderate of fellow trail users.
Don’t be a drone. Keep drones out of others wilderness experience.

My wife and I went up for a quick sunset hike got to the top and someone was flying a drone. It totally ruin are experience. Show some respect people !

Great hike. Last 5 miles to the trailhead requires careful driving as the road is pretty basic. A little hazy today so visibility was just okay. Bring bug spray!

Such a great hike. The road was bumpy but just fine.
The trails has it all Forest, meadows, Waterfalls, Creeks, Small mountain lakes, and lots of wildlife.

watson lakes were great. anderson lake not so much. pretty buggy

Amazing hike however the road to get to the trail head is awful! SOOO many potholes and was really hard on our little rental car. Once you get to the trail head however it was a really good hike. Would Recommend.

Fun hike! Brought my puppy! Unfortunately people need to pack out there dogs poo. No garbage which was nice. Lots of beautiful butterflies and flowers. Not much shade so hiking on an almost 90 degree day was a lil more challenging. I definitely would do this hike again.

We camped down the hill at boulder creek and decided to do this hike, it was well worth it and very pretty from the top, we had clear sky and amazing views of baker. On the way down my hiking partner fell and hurt her knee. When I stopped to preform first aid (road rash with rocks in the wound) multiple people came to offer help, which was pretty awesome to see. On our way down some hikers gave us some peanuts to feed some birds and we got to see a lot of dogs on the way down, so my injured partner still had a great time and both of us were shocked by all the friendly caring people on the trails that day. We both can’t wait to go back and explore some more up here. It sure is beautiful!

Absolutely stunning . Trails can feel very narrow in the moments of high traffic but as long as everyone is respectful and responsible this trail is a breeze

Wonder hike not to difficult. We did with three kids in about 1.5 hours one way and camped for one night. Found some great cliffs to jump off into really clear water.

I took a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old with down syndrome, they enjoyed the huckleberries, native plants and the streams for jumping. Awesome first hike for these boys!

One of the best hikes ever! Beautiful hike and warm lakes :) Too many bugs though...

amazing hike and my little Chevy sonic hatchback made it up the forest road at 5 mph.

amazing hike! No so much bugs and water warm and clear!

For the level of effort this is an easy hike with great views of Baker and nearby areas. Plenty of insects along the way so bring plenty of bug’s spray. No need for crampons as the snow is easily passable.

the most epic hike I have ever done!!!!

Beautiful hike! Bring your 4 wheel drive. Not your wife’s Chrysler 200. Ha! The climb to the trail head on the pot hole ridden gravel road was a little much for a little car. It can be done because we did it but it was a little scary. Lots of bugs but totally worth it!

Great hike! Views were incredible! Just be prepared for mosquitos and flies at the top....lots of them!

did this hike mid week on a cloudy day. Didnt run into too many people on the ascent. Only a bit of snow as you cross the meadows but it was easy enough to find the trail. we arrived at the look out at about 1pm. There were a handful of others at the lookout a bit earlier and left. We had the lookout to ourselves for a good two hours before the next group showed up. It got fairly busy around 3pm with other hikers. On the way back down it was quite foggy and cloudy which made crossing the snowy meadow a little more challenging but since we were retracing our steps from the morning it wasn't too bad.

Enjoyed the quiet, secluded trail through Rockport State Park today. Well maintained, bathrooms at trailhead, lots of signs and maps to point you in the right direction. Discovery Pass needed. Several little streams/brooks to enjoy. I clocked 3.0 miles from start to finish

Took my 7 year old twins to Anderson Lake Friday morning to Saturday. Great trail! Buggy but that’s to be expected. By the time we left Saturday around noon the parking lot was filled! Glad we went Friday. We had Anderson Lake to ourselves and Mt. Baker came out just in time for sunset. It did get frosty at night so still very cold up that high but once the sun touched our camp it was so delightful!

In fog all the way up today but I still rate this hike at a 5. Lots of elevation gain in a short distance but the switchbacks made it easier. So did the fog since it was a lot cooler. Still snow at the top and lots of wildflowers. Marmot, grouse and chipmunk. I'm going to come back on a clear day for the views this hike is known for!

Fabulous even with clouds!

A fun day hike for the family. Bring your bug repellent. The mosquitos are vicious. The views are well worth the minor inconvenience of insects.

Incredible hike! Steady switchbacks all the way up but nothing too tough. The views are absolutely stunning the whole way. A little snow towards the top but definitely passable and the 360 views at the top are breathtaking.. Road up to the trail head is long and rough, but worth it.

For as little effort this trail requires, the views are amazing!! There’s still a bit of snow at the top, but nothing terrible! It’s passable with boots and poles if needed! Also a lot of friendly marmots about at the top

Great trail! Good views on a clear day throughout the hike and beautiful lake. Didn’t make it to Anderson, but camped at Watson for one night. Beautiful surroundings with many little waterfalls on the far side of the lake. Snow on parts of the trail as of 07/07/18, but still able to see the right way to go. Got down to probably 35 degrees in the night.

made it to 4592 ft but had to turn around as we weren't prepared for the snow on the trail. Will go back again to complete whole loop. Its beautiful! July 6th a bit too early this year.

Peaceful trail. Very little people on it. Saw a black bear at 3.75 miles into trail.
