Easy out & back trail along the river. Trail surface is lumpy asphalt. Trail is level from Granite Lake RV park almost to Southway bridge where I turned around.

Nice well-maintained trail hugs the shoreline most of the way around the island. Saw mule deer on the eastern end. Did not see any rattlesnakes although there are warning signs. Beautiful river views.

A flat, paved trail. Most suitable for a leisurely stroll or bike ride. Mostly without shade.

The person who noted that this isn't a true trail- it is a bike path is correct. Park at Swallows park and start your walk- make it as long or short as you want. Toward the city means more shade away means less. It is a nice walk, I do it when I go to Costco/have dr apts in Lewiston area.

safe and easy 13 round trip from the blue bridge.

Not really a trail but I love to walk here along the river. I always try to do so when I have to go down for a sports tournament or to Costco. there's a good starting place/parking lot right by the Costco parking lot.

It was very pretty and peaceful with a tone of squirrels who do not fear people.Paved level path, dog friendly, bike friendly.

Not a trail but a path along the levee, in town along the river. Great walk though, and you can walk the whole loop crossing two bridges, walking along the Idaho and Washington borders. Walked it today with kids and the dog.

Not a hiking trail! It’s a paved bike path with no shade. The picture on the app is not what you’ll see!

Sorry, now I see that this trail is in Clarkston WA. It is a paved trail along the snake river. The other side of the river is in Lewiston, ID and has Hells Gate St. Park. There are lots of nice trails around the area, not listed in this software. Yes this is bike, kid, and people friendly, Pets must be on a leash, in Corp of Engineers property, or state park/trails. The trails off of Tammany Rd. are very extensive and have many easy to very hard trails for bikes and walking, not paved. Some Geo Cashing is possible.

Came here with my wife and two small sons. I carried the baby in our pack and our 4 yr old was able to hike up a moderate trail called Endurance. The sandy trail made it hard at times for my son but overall it was fun. Well maintained and some nice views. Would come back.

Loved this area. Not sure if the site is referencing the same location, but I started at the Clearwater Natl Forest trailhead in Harvard. Thanks Idaho..! All The untouched forest areas remained accessible and beautiful. I could've walked all day...or rode a horse..or ATV...
