trail was in great shape. it’s not an easy hike but worth it to get the views and my dog loved it.

Nice hike with things to see along the way! The huge Talus rocks were amazing and saw a beautiful waterfall as well. Not a difficult hike at all.

Road was closed when i got there. I had to walk extra 2 miles to the trail head, and it was covered with a lot of snow. Will come back when it has better condition.

So pretty, easy walk! Dog friendly and it wasn’t that crowded.

Wouldn’t rate as moderate. Very easy walk. 3 miles round trip. Pretty cool scenery. Nice little beach area.

Great hike today.

It’s a decent trail. Mainly creeksode walking. Random sitting benches. One recommendation would be to put a honey bucket or some sort of restroom somewhere along the trail for those of us who like being hydrated... but at the end of the trail is a great view of sea life and the water. Sunset is beautiful on a nice day.

Beautiful day for a hike up and back, watch out for some ice near the top.

Really fun trail! Hard to find at first since its a trail with in a trail! But the rocks were cool!

A nice trail for a short outing. About 3 miles round trip and not difficult. There are even a couple of benches along the way if you wanted to rest. It ends right on the Sound with beautiful views. It's definitely one we will do again. Great for families. We plan on going back in the summer.

Long drive from the Seattle area. Went in early March. The trail is 1/2-1 mile long downhill. When you get to the bottom there’s many different trails you can explore leading to different views of the caves and ocean. Trail was slightly muddy so boots would be advised unless you don’t care about getting your shoes dirty.

perfect easy walk for younger children we were just wearing tennis shoes and feet were just a little wet by the end waterproof hiking boots would be better choice path is well packed snow entire way and a couple small streams to cross and explore along the way our children are 7 and almost 11 and had no problems took an hour to reach end before turning around and heading back on beautiful sunny day

A really unique hike. I did it solo and quickly felt it would have been a better time with a few other people. Make sure you have at least two durable and dependable head lamps. Some rock scrambling is necessary. Hiked March 6th, and it was warmer in the cave than outside, at about 40*.

Fun day with kids. We stop about 3 tenths from the top and came back down. We had not planned for the ice at the top. We will definitely go back to complete the trail.

very easy and well maintained. Also incredibly beautiful!

Loved walking this trail with my pup!

this one had a beautiful off Trail which is called the devil's Punchbowl I thought that was beautiful and amazing and it's not hard at all super easy a stroller with big wheels could even go on

this Trail is Muddy year round so expect to get muddy it's easy all the way up until the end then it has a steep slope which has a rope to get down to a beach. the water is dangerous though so be careful

I live by this hike and it's my favorite I do it year round. I've seen all ages do this hike

The drive from Port Angeles was very long. The beautiful weather when we left wasn't nearly as beautiful when we got there. The hike was short and sweet. Not too difficult. the views were amazing. We can say that we have seen them but not sure I'd do it again.

Love this trail , hiked it for the third time today ! So many side trails to cut in and out of makes for a wonderful adventure. Views views and more views . I recommend this hike rain or shine

Nice wide trail beautiful trees , best part was getting to the water

The trail is as muddy as they say, there are a lot of side trails to bypass the mud but you’re still gonna get muddy. I’d recommend coordinating your trip for low tide so you can explore the tide pools and more of the beach, plus it’s easier walking on hard packed sand.

Very beautiful for a short hike.

it was about a year ago that I went on this trail but it is super cool and unique, very beautiful. I am a Utah residing Washington native and this is probably my favorite hike of all time. I would, however, recommend bringing a sweatshirt, a headlight, and a handheld light (per person). Extra batteries wouldn't hurt, either. I love this trail, though!

This hike is pretty and not difficult. Lots of fresh snow so spikes weren’t necessary but did help when going up an incline. The cave is covered up right now, but the hike is still worth it. Saw a small avalanche as well. I can’t wait to go back when I can actually see the cave! Parking is about 2 miles away from the trailhead.

Absolutely stunning. Easy trail, with a charming wood plank trail to look outs around the cape. The most beautiful place to watch the sunset.
