Barnum Point is vey nice. I’d call it more moderate then easy, easy to me is just a flat trail and this one goes all the way down to the beach and a bit of an incline back up. The Bluff Trail as well as some of the interior wooded trails are all very pretty.

Beautiful moderate trail with beach access. A nice walk in the woods, not too buggy yet this time of year. Lots of places to sit and rest. The tracker I was wearing has the loop at 2.6 miles. I didn’t find the signage that bad. Only took a wrong turn once. Use the app to track your location on the map and that will help. Very nice restrooms down at the beach.

Nice place to walk with a long dirt path or a short sandy beach. Good views of Three Fingers, Pilchuck, etc. to the east, and Baker / Twin Sisters to the northeast. The water appeared to be shallow along the shore, and it's an off-leash area, so water dogs would be happy here. It looks a bit muddy, though.

Great EASY hike(s). There are actually a few hikes in this area. The view is awesome, but the Beach Hike is really rocky.

Beautiful place to hang out

I was impressed with the beautiful views of the sound, Sitka Rose, and various wildflowers. Will be back for sure!

Super beautiful! Made it for low tide.. views of Mt. Baker, three finger.. Pilchuck. Fun loop walk with the Hobbit trail!

Went on a beautiful spring day. The beach and vistas were gorgeous but the trails were confusing and we found ourselves walking on paved roads through campgrounds instead of trails towards the vistas.

Beautiful trails, perfect for trail running, amazing views, beach access. Loved it!

Trail is very nicely maintained. As stated otherwise started here, the signage is confusing but we still enjoyed ourselves and had fun exploring.

Great trail. Hit all the side loops and both trailheads and you can log 6 miles and maybe 600 ft elev.

We tried going out there but it was too wet and cold. We will try it again this summer.

Very easy flat trail along the waters edge for the half of it. Beach access with incredible views of Mt. Baker, Three Fingers and Cascades. You can even see Mt. Rainier from the beach. Eagles are known to frequent this area though we didn’t see any. Make sure to take the Hobbit trail, aptly named. Just make sure to watch out for the tree roots. It’s a short trail all around but very pretty.

Perfect January day in the sunshine. Finally explored the whole park. Started at the beach to immediately get the hill climb/stairs out of the way. Only saw one tree down on the entire length of the trail. Ended with a sit on the beach watching the harbor seals play ❣️

Most of the Trail has been washed out. I’ll return when it’s warmer and some of the beach is dry.

I did this trail in January so it was a little muddy but still fun! It’s pretty flat and easy so it was a nice one to start with. I’m new to the area and have a goal to do a hike once a week. I liked the little hobbit trail too. It was a little slippery but cozy. We saw humming birds, ducks, cranes, chickadees and a rabbit. All and all it was a nice little hike and we will be doing to again soon.

Nice trails, fully marked, several bathroom facilities, camping areas, parking (with discovery pass required) beautiful views. Love the beach. Enjoyed my time hiking through here.

Sign posts are not clear. Beach walk was great.

Easy hike as we took our 8&9 year olds with, beautiful views with resting benches, nice beach walk at the end....confusing with multiple trails that are not marked well, overall good hike for families with little ones.....beautiful beach area!

Well maintained trails. My only complaint was that the trail markers are somewhat confusing and we wondered off the trail a number of times.

very beautiful and got some great pictures but the trail is not marked well. We kept finding ourselves in campgrounds.

Family hike. Easy, well maintained trail. Kinda disappointed with the lake at the end of the trail. It is a pretty spot.

Easy, well-kept, beautiful trail! Doable for kids, too. Bring the bug spray! There were lots of berries along the trail, too. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get my family to leave since they kept stopping for more berries, even though they were still tart.

Great hike many trails and loops. Maintained trails and many benches to sit on for a break or just two take in the beautiful views.

Went up to cranberry lake the trail was nice and dry and easy to get to. Once you got to the lake the bugs were horrible!! Next time will bring bug spray. Besides the bugs it was a nice little hike.

Fun hike taken early morning with our kids (almost 3 yr old and 10 month old). We entered at the Dry Lake Rd Trailhead, which is downhill the entire way then uphill the way back. Quite a few spots with massive mud puddles—made it difficult with a stroller, but otherwise it was fine.
