Great local place to hike. It’s plenty shady and the views at the top are nice.

Beautiful and quite, love the trail and the waterfall. Give the rope swing under the falls a try! Quick easy hike if your limited on time.

Great little place to hike if you want to hike without traveling very far. Not too strenuous. The view of the sound is nice once on top.

Very nice views and the trail is mostly flat, with a few short steep hills. If you want to go to the waterfall, make sure you turn right once you reach the gravel road, then you’ll see a sign. Other than a small lack of directions, it was a fun hike!

Close to home, easy parking, nice trails and views. I wasn’t sure how much we’d enjoy it, getting a late start on an 80+ day but there was plenty of shade on most of the trail and some breezes. We stopped at the creek on the way down. Kids and dogs really enjoyed playing in the falls. Definitely will be back.

Very difficult, misjudged the jump from moderate to hard on this app. Made it to the top but definitely not for the beginning hiker who thinks they are in shape. Would definitely go June-July when the snow is melted. Fell through the snow into the lake, pretty cold. But all in all breathtaking views of waterfalls and surrounding mountains. Will do again in July

Good parking, trail decently marked, no toilet facilities, cell signal. Beautiful falls!

Great hike for during a week!! We went up from Wildcat trail and back Beaverpond trail took us for 4 hours.:)

Little bummed that the trails were not better marked. Beautiful vista at the top and great trails.

Good trail and not very busy even on a weekend in May.

nice trails not too muddy in March. watch out for motorcycles. we could see downtown Seattle from the top.

Great trip today up to the top. We added a longer route down to get to 6.6 miles and had a smooth trip. Left around 10 am and beat most folks up there. Trail is muddy in some places, but otherwise clear. Disappointed to see the trash at the viewpoint left by others.

Great family trail with awesome views of the Olympics and hood canal at the top.

perfect moderate hike, beautiful views

Love this hill

it would be better to grab a map at the main entrance, and use it as a reference along with the app. the park is cleaned up with nice trails. I ran into some friendly people on the trail.

Some nice views on the trail itself of the Olympics as you're coming up. You can catch a view of Rainier at the top but it's obscured partially by some trees. The viewpoint is a pile of rocks and a chain link fence - you can see Seattle and some of the Cascades, but the view is a little limited. Nice walk through the woods though!

Great hike. We went up Wildcat and back down beaver pond. It was about 9.5 miles. The bikes and 4 wheelers weren’t that bad. It is definitely a shared trail, everyone was polite.

Someone enlighten me. We did this last weekend and had no idea where to go when the trail split. We wanted to see the view but after already doing 5 miles and no end insight, I had to turn around. My 3 kiddos were DONE! I didn’t have service so I had no way to navigate. Any tips? I want to try again!!

This trial is pretty cool. I did find myself doing small circles within the actual trail, but overall it was a great hike.

good easy trail for the day.

wildcat trail starts at the wildcat trail head. This is a link of green mountain trail to a logging road that connects to the upper section of wildcat trail. but, still well worth it.

Perfect day in February for a stunning view across to Seattle!

Good moderate trail. Ran half, hiked half. Loved seeing so many people out and enjoying this trail on mountain bikes, dirt bikes, hiking, or running! Really appreciated how respectful the dirt bikers were with my dog and I!

This was my first *true* Washington hike since moving here in August, meaning that it was cold, windy, rainy, and most of the time we were hiking in the clouds so the views were sparce. Still, an excellent workout not too far from home, if a little muddy (to be expected). Four stars only because of the obnoxious occasional dirtbikes, otherwise a lovely experience.

Went on a windy-rainy day, perfect hike with my pooch!

great views. rivers and streams. there's a mine. beautiful vista views. challenging for small children but can be done. expect heavy traffic during long weekends.

Beautiful trail, great workout. You can get all the hill work you want or take the forest road for a more level run. Some very large puddles this time of year. Stop and enjoy the awesome views.
