always there to provide awesome suggestions on almost everything I want to do trailwise.
love it

Great hike, but it is more moderate than easy. The trail was also had to follow since it was comprised of a couple of other trails.

Easy, pretty hike. Good for a leisure stroll

It's been a while since I've visited Rock Creek and was pleased to see more trail markers than I remember. We stopped in at the visitor center to get some info on the trails and construction. Between the map they gave us and all trails we were able to find our way.

Good for a day's workout. Trail has good tree cover and stays cooler.

This trail is really pretty, half of it is along the river. The only thing is that because of construction, you are unable to see the bridge (the best part of the hike).

Unexpected trail in the middle of the nations capital. Will definitely get a good workout in with the hills and dodging of the horse dung located throughout the trail.

Awesome!! Went with the kids and had tons of fun. Beautiful trail!

This is a great hike right in the downtown DC area. You can combine it with the eastern side to make it a nice loop vice an out and back. Interesting bits of history at signs and markers along the way.

Love the hill at the end. Great hike! Beautiful walk by the creek.

Not well marked at all, with lots of smaller branching trails. Overall, a good trail but poorly marked.

Great scenery even in the winter.

Had a good hike, but was frustrated by the poorly marked trail system. Hiked north from the nature center on the western ridge trail, then returned on the valley trail. Many forks in trail with no indication ofwhich trail is which. Blazes and trail markers seemed sparse.

Great hike for a decent workout with the pups. We added an extra mile by parking on Colorado which was awesome

I went there a few weeks ago, the trail to the north east was closed off. I took the a road along side but it is also technically closed off to public. FYI, you end up at a police station at the end of the road so I wouldnt recommend sneaking around, wait until the construction is done and the roads reopen.

Information regarding open trails during beach dr construction would be highly valued.

Really a nice park, though it would be helpful to have more information posted about what trails are closed due to the Beach Drive construction. It resulted in a bit of backtracking because routes were closed off.

Really nice, shady trail with a long stretch along the creek, including lots of spots to go right down to it. Some elevation changes. Watch out for the horse poo though! It is well traveled by the horses. Great with kids.

This is my favorite spot to go for a hike in the city. It's beautiful, the trails are well marked, and during the week you won't see many people. There are more people on the weekend, but due to the size of Rock Creel Park, I never felt it was too many people.

Fun trail, poorly labelled. We had a great lunch sitting on the rocks by the rapids about a third of the way through (we started from the south). Be sure to check out Pulpit Rock and the views from there! We started on this trail and then walked down Western Ridge at the north point (for about 9mi total).

Nice moderate trail, but very poorly marked. We met several other hikers on our way and no one knew where they were going.

Beautiful trail, but poorly marked trails/trail maps.

Great scenic view. Water and open woods. Paths are pretty wide. Folks were really friendly.

Pretty, shady trail. Not too busy at 8 on Sunday morning. There wasn't much signage so we ended up hiking a couple other trails as well.
