Super easy & beautiful location, Great for trail running, too. Expect to use the gps on this app getting back; the trails aren’t connected and seemingly meander at will.

Great trail! The woods add excellent shade on very hot days such as today, there was a nice breeze and the park employees were very helpful in pointing out trails around the park. The park is nice and clean, we saw plenty of wildlife: deer, birds, snakes and turtles. It was a very peaceful and beautiful trail. Perfect for runners as well, passed by by couple of them!

Absolutely fun and beautiful ! The only concern was the trail was a little off which caused us to get lost but nonetheless it was the best time ever !

I live in Edgehill and this was a fantastic ride. Perfect for the family and relatively tame. Road through a piece of the Yorktown Battlefield and connected to the trail at Washington’s HQ. Highly recommend!

this was my first time here, and I was delighted with this trail!!!! it's not so much a "trail," as it is a, rigorous labyrinth of dynamically varied terrain. a few drops and small climbs, several jumps, the random log here and there, all in all once you find your way back to the the trail head, it's freekin awesome. bring snacks!!

If you are looking to change up the NNP Bicycle Trail try this cutoff. The trail / gravel rail along the power lines is covered with broken rock so it can ge a tad aggravating to walk on but the trail that connects to the mail trail is covered with pine needles and grass and is a pleasure to walk on It’s a nice switch up from what can become a rather tedious if not boring path if you do NNP a lot. Try it.

A lot to explore. Good for bikes. Nothing I really hated about it, but there are better trails.

Good trail. Very spread out so didn’t encounter many people. All dogs we passed were leashed (as was ours). No bathrooms that I saw though. Could be marked a little better at forks. Saw a deer and lots of squirrels. Would hike again!

Good trail. Very, very popular and can be crowded.

A labyrinth of trails, nice coverage, not busy. Would do this one again.

Wonderful walk along naturally worn paths and wooden bridges over the waterways. Longer path goes around the lake and marsh. While we did not see a lot of wildlife, we did see a beautiful crane eating fish. The overall mileage on my phone health app showed 2.2 miles, however the signage said it was 2.6 and this app says it is 3.1. Would definitely come out here again. It was rejuvenating and extremely peaceful.

pretty good. its nice and sparsely populated. A little mushy due to rain, but still a doable run. we just walked it this time around.

I loved it! I just got back and although I tried to stay around the lake somehow I got off and ended up going in a big loop. The trail is hilly and some areas not easily seen. It's rustic but at no time did I feel unsafe. This is right across from where Noland trail is on the other side of Warwick . For some reason I thought this was Noland Trail and because I knew Noland Trail was closed because of covid-19 I was missing out. I did see a few people on this Trail but very, very few compared to Trails such as Newport News and Sandy Beech Bottom which are full of people

A very fun trail with excellent views!

This is a beautiful trail. It's nice to get out during covid-19 and do some walking although the trail was quite crowded and there was a lot of people out. I seen a deer and lots of turtles. Beautiful beautiful scenery

Well traveled and peaceful ride. Highly recommend this one for new mountain bikers and those wanting to take the kiddos. This trail does NOT earn its moderate rating. Very easy ride!

Nice, flat trail that’s easily walked and can be used by children or the disabled quite easy. We saw a lot of wildlife along the bridges including herons, egrets, turtles and a giant snapping turtle.

Great flat trail to walk or run. Easy for everyone including disabled and children. The trail has very pretty views of the reservoir and surrounding area with half shaded/half sunny areas all around. Occasional benches are placed for a small sit down if needed. Can be slightly crowded at times but is spacious enough for everyone.

Good place for a run, flat and winding with good coverage from the sun.

Wonderful early morning hike.

Didn’t know what to expect before hitting this trail. I have to say, it was much better than what I expected. The views were great, the walk was great, the bridges were great (and the one previously discussed has been replaced). Wasn’t crowded although there were more people than I expected. I do recommend doing this trail. However, I don’t recommend doing what i noticed another couple doing... leave the strollers at home.

Great easy hike through forrested areas, bridges over a lake, bridge over edge of swamp. Observation overlooks throughout. And a bit of Civil War battle history as well. Will go again

Took my Nine year old sister on this trail she loved it ! Lots of animals, will be doing this trail again:)
