Just an amazing hike up through a creek valley. The first half (easy to moderate) warms you up and the switchbacks up to the ridge keep you warm. The hike past the shelter to the overlook (higher moderate level) are much narrower and not for the skiddish. When wet this upper part could be quite the sketchy experience. Up and back is a good amount of work so pack accordingly. Lots of scenery and some very exciting photo opportunities. If you are comfortable on a trail and relatively fit this is a doable trail.Show more
