place is absolutely slammed. almost impossible to get a parking spot midday on a Saturday

nice to the river hike, easy to moderate, with some off the path options. overall good hike, main paths semi crowded

Beautiful trail! I will come again.

Great trails, beautiful river walk, beautiful views, and fun however not very good for seclusion in this COVID-19 crisis. People kind of everywhere, very hard to maintain distance so I had to put my mask on several times.

closed (presumably due to covid) but people were street parking and going in anyway

Overall it’s a easy hike, however you can find a way to make it a lot harder, you can along the easy hike but you will be able to find trails that can lead you to rocky hikes and also can lead you to a small waterfall. Nice trail.

Nice easy hike. We’ve started at this parking lot a number of times before but hadn’t done this trail. Using the GPS as a guide we detoured a bit to walk a little deeper, further east since the trails and map are so easy to follow. Once down at the river there was a steep scramble uphill and then over some rocks and we weren’t sure if we were on an actual path but it was fun and all the pathways seemed to lead back together again by the river. This one section might be difficult if one has agility issues but the rest was an easy 3 mile hike. We ate lunch on the rocks beside the river and our dog enjoyed the stream and creeks on the way back. Note that finding a parking spot can be a challenge because this lot fills fast.

Love this place

This is a great hour and 15 min hike if you go the right way. We’ve don’t both forward and backward and if you want a harder workout cross over Georgetown pike last. Managed to do the trail with a BOB stroller with the help of a friend but won’t be doing that again. Backpacked the little one before on this trail which was a great workout.

Great trail. A little muddy/ slick in some parts. Wear shoes with grippy soles. Download the all trails map to help keep you on the 2.5 mile loop. There are a lot of side trails.

Scott's Run extended, Justin and JB joined, high water, good waterfall, rock hopping, great hike!

Beautiful trail - Scenic overlooks, waterfalls, not challenging but can be slick and muddy - little hills in the terrain make it fun, areas to cross stream can be wet and slick - really enjoyed all the views!

Not sure why this says 2.5 miles... With a shortcut we managed to cut it down to 4.1. Went with two little kids but they were great regardless. There is one area of the trail that runs along a really steep drop so if you are headed there with little kids I would suggest you have a 1:1 ratio.

great light running trails

Scott's run, cool weather, lots of rock scrambling, great hike, waterfalls, 4 miler, got crowded at end

Wet but well maintained
