Got lost trying to follow the CCT, but didn’t mind exploring the park for the first time. They recently paved a loop around the batting cages and fields which was half open half closed? so not sure if I was allowed out there! I think it’s about 2.5-3 miles from the very first trail head at the beginning of the park(basically at the traffic light) to run down and around the park and back up. The new building looks like it’s going to be really nice. I also would have kayaked if I had the time. Good place to have a picnic, sit on the water, kayak, or fly a kite. Additionally, the wooded trail that runs parallel to the park’s entry road, is flat on the ridge (nice, quiet, shaded path) and shows a view of the water/bridge/houses at the top.

Nice easy paved path trail for kids and a puppy dog.

Beautiful trail, wide and well maintained. Silent and peaceful most of the way as it’s away from main roads. You actually follow a trail named Mustang loop 1/2 mi from parking area and pick up Thompson creek loop which is the main trail on this map. There is a 1.1 mi trail called Wood Thrush loop that starts and ends at the bridge halfway through and is easy and very pretty. That puts you right back on Thompson creek trail. The whole thing is about 3.5 to 4 if you do it that way. All trails are well marked. Seems like a lot of horseback usage, although it was quiet and deserted on a Nov Sunday afternoon.

Nice hike to the observation blind. We saw a Great Egret and a Great Blue Heron in the march area!

Went to hike the trail but gave up trying to find it. Then we realized it was just a loop down the road to a scenic view. Ended up renting a tandem kayak and exploring the river.

Some pretty views when you get to the loop. A very easy hike. Great for after work.

Nice park to run I enjoyed it I will return

Perfect length, nice scenery, had my two dogs and they loved it.

nice and shady. Uncrowded on the trail but I could hear the highway which was a big turn-off. The trail was really well maintained. couldn't really see the river thru the trees

Great paved trail with light elevation. Quiet-I saw one other person on the trail during both mid morning weekdays.

A lot of mountain bikers so be on the lookout.

Had a fun hike. Gorgeous day to get out. It was pretty empty at 10 am. More people showed up after noon.

Some decent wildlife viewing, but trails are not very well connected and there isn't a lot to do for how far it is.

I went here with my dog for a hike once and a run another time! Some of their trails are perfect for a jog with well maintained paths (Dogue trail). Others are better a hike because they're less traveled with lots of roots. I appreciate both! My dog loves coming here and I plan to come back many times!

Well kept trails for the most part, great vistas of Belmont Bay, and overall a peaceful and quiet park especially on weekdays. I enjoy walking the trails often.

great place to test out my new 29er. there is a lot of diversity in the tracks. there are lots of single tracks and it looks like they're building a lot of jumps. great place for a beginner and even seasoned Riders will probably love this place.

Found one trail in the park and it wasn't much of a trail. also very run down buildings and a bit scary parking my car here. trail was poorly marked and I want sure I was even on an authorized trail. don't bother with this park.

Not well marked, but the path is somewhat easy to follow...

Great easy trail. I saw a number of people out including small children. A great afternoon with scenic views.

Love this trail, despite the annoying construction detours that interrupted the route somewhat! Hope they don't build over it!

Great trail, took my 7 1/2 month old and wife on the trails had a great day and it was a very peaceful park. the park rangers are all very friendly for being what look like college kids.

I couldn't find the trail, only new construction everywhere!

Great park with lots of trails. Most seem to be a bit over a mile and really well maintained so they are easy to walk with little ones. There's lots of wildlife by the shore and some great teaching opportunities with kids who want to explore. Some of the trails by the beach are under construction currently so you can only go so far, but in low tide you can get across some of the sand and further down the beach that way.

Multiple trails in the park. Most were around 1 mile although there is one outside the ranger station that you could take into the park if you dont want to pay. Took the kids (5) and (9) on the Bayview trail. IT was a nice walk by the river/bay and through the marsh (elevated board walkway). Park had relatively clean bathrooms too.

Hidden gem. Looking forward to going back in the spring to see the birds. We did see a Heron and the stream was teeming with small fish. Very secluded and quiet - we only saw one other family and a lone horse and rider.

good trail to take kids (9&10). the trail illustrated on the app is not completly accurate. Entrance to park is off Ox road. if you use google maps to get to the trail it will take you to a state dump so dont make the same mistake i did.
