La Crosse, Virginia Map

This trail was fun to ride because it was empty. Started in La Crosse and cycled to Lawrenceville in 90 minutes or so. There's a gas station there if you need some food. Lawrenceville part of trail (last mile or two) is a bit run down and not much to see. Cycled back to La Crosse the way I came. Didn't see anyone on the trail in over 3 hours which is a welcome change from the busy trails near Raleigh. Several rest rooms along the way - very well kept for such a quiet trail. Was riding 2 inch tires which had no problems with some of the softer conditions (of which there were only a few).

This is a great trail for running and biking! The trail is long and flat. When you come to the trailhead make a right that the longer portion of the trail the left side only 2 Miles.

Beautiful running path. Several outhouse bathrooms, picnic tables, and strong sturdy bridges. My dogs loved it! Nice wide gravel path with beautiful forest all around. A good way to get lots of miles without having to run in the city.
