It was more of a walking trail then a hike and the trial was very overgrown.

What a magical location.

Very well marked, very pleasant, loved this hike and would definitely go again.

The best trail.

A couple trees have fallen across trail, but in good shape. Gets narrow at top, and a good test for beginners!

trail is clearly marked, nice for a short, day hike. would definitely go again!

Good moderate hike but trails poorly marked and no real views

The trails are so well marked, it’s easy to combine for extra mileage, and fun to remember your color order(red, blue, red, purple, red, orange etc) nothing particularly challenging but it’s neat to see how different the vegetation can be on the different trails.

Trail running is prohibited at Ivy Creek. There are bird watching classes and kids programs. Trails are many and easily combined for a wide range of experience. Only limit is about 600 feet of elevation.

Nice shady trail - good hike during heat of summer.

My daughter and I hiked the red and dark purple peninsula trail as well as parts of the blue and light purple trails. We saw a fawn on the edge of North Field and a doe in the water on the red trail. We also saw 2 big black rat snakes as well as a Great Blue Heron, mallards and Canadian Geese. It was hot so I was surprised to see so much wildlife during the heat of the afternoon. Loved it here and will return.

breath taking amazing views. Try starting out with the red trail, yellow, orange, then purple but really you need to experience all them, just get lost and when you don't know how to get out just look for the signs that lead you towards the field and you will connect back to parking

Well maintained paths. Great for an hour or so walk on fairly easy trails.

Drove 20 minutes to get here only to find dogs were not allowed. What a bummer!

This trail was well maintained and well marked. I enjoyed a summer morning hike on this trail. The scenery was good. Traffic was light and plenty of parking space.

I really enjoyed it. I went in early Spring when the trees were still barren and was surprised at the amount of wildlife I saw from birds of prey to wild turkeys and plenty of deer.
