A nice short hike. Grade was a little steeper than I thought it would be but a decent challenge. It was very foggy and there was no view from the fire tower but a good way to spend the morning.

Great hike with wonderful views! It is my go to hike when family visits and wants to go.

Great view at the top (though there are trees so it's not 360). We went when there was a ton of rain so the trail got flooded (we were literally creek hiking so the return was slippery). There's a lot of rocks on this trail so you have to wear good shoes. I would also definitely make sure you are wearing hiking gear because we saw a couple snakes at the top (so don't sit idly at the top...they creep up behind you! lol). Otherwise, this was just amazing. It took us 2 and a half hours total to hike and 30 minutes at the top so we spent 3 hours there.

did on a 90 degree day, shade most of the way. easy going, fire tower at the top offers great views.

We love this hike! We keep coming back! Not too hard with a few steeper spots. We went to the fire tower and back. We did not do the loop. The trail is easy to follow and the views are beautiful. Only suggestion I have is to not go on a windy day.

Great views from fire lookout. Pretty trail. Not difficult but steep parts at the beginning. Good in winter but park across road as entrance to park isn’t cleared of snow.

Nice easy hicke, did it with a 3 years kid with no difficulties. View from the tower is very rewarding. Other trail around that connect to that trail doesn’t worth the walk (bishop trail, hogback, rim...)

great short hike. definetely not easy. the trail quality was great with good views along the way and from the fire tower.

Great hike short but beautiful views!

Don't bother going there in the winter. There were no parking signs until April 30th on every side street, so we had to bail because we couldn't find a place to park.

The first half is all up hill, more than I anticipated. At the summit you can’t see anything, unless you climb up the fire tower. I was expecting some sort of clearing at the top. The overall hike was very muddy and slippery. Decent and well marked, but wouldn’t do it again.

Trailhead was easy to find and did not use a map for this hike which was fine because the path was clearly marked with trail markers. I felt like the incline was not to strenuous, but it definitely brought my heart rate up! Went on a rainy day so unfortunately there wasn't any view at the top, but I would totally do this hike again!

An easy going hike with a stunning view.

a great little hike. 2 miles up, 2 miles down. Enough elevation to give you a little sweat. Summit is quite beautiful. definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Use the directions from the All trails app to get to the trail head. even the drive up is beautiful.

The AllTrails app placed us right to the trailhead. A great day for a hike through a very rocky trail. The blue blazes were not as plentiful as I am used to but the well worn path made following the trail a no-brainer. The trail was heavily trafficked due to the fall foliage. Had a beautiful lunch with my wife at the summit; a win-win time.

Nice moderate trail. No hand holds needed to reach summit. Noticed ankle turns more than usual due to loose rocks on trail. Others in group noticed the same. Trail signs good. Trail maps on trail not so good.

For the investment, this hike has a high payout. The hike is so short, and while it does climb up a bit, you're already at the top before you know. I'd still say it's an easy hike. You have to climb the fire tower! Very clearly marked and there is even another map at the fire tower. I went up late afternoon which was great.

The first half of the trail is straight up the mountain only using rocks and roots for footing.. moderate to difficult for some. 2nd half was easy and a beautiful hike. Totally worth the hard work first half.

Easy to find trailhead. You go steadily up through the woods until you reach the top. Pretty overlook! Trail was well maintained and easy to follow.

Gorgeous!

The easy raring was misleading, short, moderate trail. Breathtaking views from the tower.

Really nice trail, but I'd definitely call this more than "moderate". Plenty of uphill loose rock sections, followed by loose tree roots. All in all about 75-90mins up to the peak. Well worth the climb!

Easy but pretty trail. Spectacular views from firetower.

It should be noted, there is a park fee payable to access this hike (parking at Molly Stark State Park). We arrived late day to hike, unfortunately with no cash . Will try again another time.

Great short day hike. Challenging up, easy down. Awesome views at the summit. Take some cheese and crackers and vino to nosh on. Summer hike.

Very well maintained loop and the views from the firetower were great! 75 minutes round trip not including a stop at the tower.

Goes through dense woods but the view from the firetower is nice (unless you have a fear of heights.) Missed the other half of the loop after reaching the firetower, and accidentally took the Tower Trail to Hogback Mountain.
