Very easy hike down to the falls. Be careful! The last stretch of hike to the falls itself is very steep and requires walking through small streams and unsteady rocks. The waterfall is beautiful. There were some locals that were jumping off of the falls (would not recommend) but swimming in the pools below was a fantastic way to cool off.

We had so much fun playing in the waterfalls! My husband and I took our almost 4 year old and 5 year old. The hike down was steep and slippery, but we were careful and took our time. My kids had fun “rock climbing” down the rock stairs at the steep parts. The water was cold, but not as cold as I expected. We had so much fun in the water. Highly recommend this adventure!

I love this place.

Nice waterfall . Easy to get to!

Hiked this trail again with friends. It’s a fun hike with several options to take side trails!!!

I rated this as a decent outing because the falls are nice and refreshing. This is NOT a 2.9 mike hike. It is a little under a half mile to the falls.

This was such a fun hike. Starts out easy and gets increasingly steeper. It took me less than 2 hours up and back with time to stop for photos. I will definitely return in the Fall.

NOT 2.9 miles. More like a 5 minute stroll from the parking lot and then BAM ... you’re in a pristine medieval forest that looks like a movie set. The falls are splendid, but make sure you enjoy them from above as well as below. From the top, the dangerous and gorgeous views of the slot canyon below are a must see. Who knew this was just off the highway? Now you know. Put it on your short list of things to see in the Stowe area.

This is a lovely easy trail that follows a mountain brook and various small falls. The drive to the trail was beautiful! We even saw a black bear bumble across the road.

Great waterfall and short hike. Water was crystal clear and the perfect temperature to cool down in July.

Beautiful place to explore. Be sure to walk past main viewing area to find away across to the other side for more spectacular views and less people. You can find your way into the water for a swim and natural whirlpool.

Beautifully maintained trail. most of it is relatively flat with lots of tree roots. it's really close to a step drop off at the beginning, so don't bring little kids unless they'll hold your hand firmly. great informational signs.

This is right near mountain biking and the Catamount cross country ski trail. A great hidden gem of a resource. and it's a beautiful drive to get to the trail head.

Great little hike. We were checking it out for hiking with friends that don’t hike. This is an easy one with beautiful falls. We started out around 7 AM and had the trail to ourselves. Also went past the falls for another 3/4 of a mile just for the exercise. Nice trails with a couple steep spots that can get the heart rate up.

1.5 hours to Taylor Lodge and back. Great moderate hike, some steep rock steps, good views.

A nice hike with opportunities to join up with other trails at the top. It ends at a shelter on the Long Trail. A decent hike to do if you want to get out for awhile and work up a bit of a sweat but you don’t have all day to spend.

Nice shaded rocky trail up to Taylor Lodge. When you get to the lodge take a quick left up to the lookout over the valley for a beautiful view.

This is not 2.9 miles.... half mile round trip maybe a tad more. Nice view of falls.

Yes. Silly signs about private property

We were thankful to the previous reviewer who told us not to give up hope on the public parking at the end of the road. Just when we despaired we were entering a private address, the parking lot appeared on the right. I was glad to have my hiking boots for the wet rocky area. The waterfall and notch were nice and the trail easy to follow. I would have given it another star if it weren't for the first part of the trail that followed the lodge and the seemingly ridiculous amount of signs reminding you that it bordered private property. We did experience bugs, so take the bug spray.

Easy. Nice waterfalls. . There is a beaver dam on the left when you first start walking. You can see tree stumps with teeth marks.

Short but sweet! Breathtaking waterfall at the end of an easy and short easy to follow trail.

Theses waterfalls are amazingly beautiful.
But once you’ve reach the top, it seemed to us the trail was boring.
And the waterfalls are at the beginning of the trail so for those looking for a good hike maybe this is not your place.

Very easy walk to a historic cabin. We went the extra distance to Bingham Falls, and there was a steep climb down, but it is definitely worth the effort - beautiful!

Beautifully maintained trail with geologic education posters along the way. The views are peaceful and stunning.

Easy hike to see the falls, beyond the top is a rather boring trail.

Very nice trail, a little short if you just want a hike, but if you’re going swimming or cliff jumping, the falls are perfect. There are a few small rocks to jump off, but you can also jump the 30 foot cliffs above the falls. Bring towels because you will definitely want to dry off that cold water before hiking out.

Awesome narrow valley (glen) falls and cascades. A really short trek in but you can continue up to the top of the falls and, if you want to go further you can continue down snowmobile path. A must see!

Very easy and flat hike, interesting plant life and the falls along the route are really lovely!

The falls are only about a 2 min hike in, and they are stunning! The rest of the walk is flat and mundane, with no designated end and no views, but if you like the woods and the river, it’s a great spot!
