Really nice hike. Trail was mostly dry with a few muddy sections, though not difficult to pass. Pinnacle summit was stunning with lots of rocks to climb for multiple views.
Did not bring my dog but encountered many along the way, would definitely say the trail is easy for them. Loved meeting Baylor and Samson, the local dogs at the top.
Went along the skyline trail for a bit (not all the way to Mt. Hunger) but did not find it that nice. Overall not too demanding but still swore at myself during some steep sections.

Very easy and flat hike, interesting plant life and the falls along the route are really lovely!

Currently closed for Mud Season. Signage is posted at trailhead.

Perfect hike up in the unseasonably warm weather today. The trail was mostly dry until closer to summit where there was some snow and ice, I was glad I brought crampons! If you see Baylor and Sampson, two golden retrievers who can regularly be found the trail, give them a big hug!!

Did this in February on snowshoes. Lots of snow, beautiful and peaceful. Has a few steeper spots for short periods but always levels out to let you catch breath. No view at top but beautiful wooded surroundings with brook along the way.

Great hike! Didn’t need spikes, but there were some slippery slopes.
Also, Don’t eat the yellow snow

Starts off easy, gets steeper, with a few stone staircases, the grade eases at the end. There are great, 360 degree views on the summit, stretching up and down the Green Mountains and the Worcester Range. The last time I went, it was 85 degrees (on Memorial Day Weekend) so it was far less enjoyable. However, it is generally an excellent hike.

Nice, short hike, steep at points, but the falls are worth it. This trail is fairly popular, but there are other, less crowded cascades nearby that you can explore.

Spikes, my two kids, two dogs, amazing view from summit.

Icy (wear spikes) but fun to slide on the way down! Super windy at the peak.

Incredible views. Best hike I have done on the east coast yet!

We hiked with microspikes and it was Great! We stopped just below the chin because of poor visibility. Tried to go up Profanity, but after just 5 or so minutes, the trail was unbroken and very deep snow instead.

Nice trail with some terrific views, we met lots of people hiking or skiing on the trail, also three groups of ice climbers in the notch, nice relaxing day in the notch highly recommend.

Fun hike with a great view at the beginning and the top. Very icy though, even with microspikes we had some gnarly spills on certain segments.

Nice winter hike. Snowshoes are probably recommended.

The Bruce Trail is a testament to Stowe’s rich ski history. This trail was cut in the 1930s and is still in perfect skiing condition to this day. You can skin or hike it from the bottom, or you can access it from the Four Runner Quad at Stowe Mountain Resort. You will need to coordinate a ride with someone back to the lifts if you do the latter. The whole thing took about 16 minutes to ski, including the Burt Trail. This trail is not recommended for beginners, since it will involve 3000 feet of moguls on a narrow slope. But if you have the skills necessary, it’s a descent to remember.

We snowshoed up this trail. There was a good amount of snow cover and it was very icy in spots, so you may need crampons. The views at the top are stunning!

Winter conditions for sure. So beautiful!

Great place to swim!

Great climb. Many icy spots, especially towards the top. I would recommend the climb, but with caution.

Very windy at the top with little to no visual when we went, but still a great hike. Definitely bring yourself lots of water! Due to the traffic coming up (as we were trying to go down) and grounds being wet, took profanity back down to attempt and bypass some people and to be more covered from the winds.

Great hike, moderate pace took about 3 hours. Trail has some ice spots so be mindful.

Had beautiful views all the way up. Just be careful about going on a windy day. The wind will be severe at the top. My friend and I were very nervous and unable to enjoy the views like we had hoped. I would definitely go back again. One of my favorite hikes by far.

Enjoyed our hike and we were excited that the famous trail dogs were up there to greet everyone! Those dogs sure do have a perfect life!

Good hike; great views. Moderate.

A more challenging, moderate hike. The first portion is very steep, then it escalates into more technical footing, rock walking, and stream crossing. An interesting and beautiful hike. Give yourself a little more time to complete this than you may have thought for 2.8 miles.

Awesome waterfall with a lot of places for climbing and lounging in the river. View from the bottom of the falls is well worth the walk down. Of note, the steps down to the bottom are steep and can be slippery when wet and covered in leaves.

perfectly nice and easy hike. falls are lovely but not most impressive in the area. make sure you go to the bottom of the falls too. There is longer hike you can do from the falls

lovely hike. went up there for sunrise, which offered great light.
