This is the perfect walk with amazing views of Lake Champlain. It’s also a great bike ride, including a paid ferry trip to Chicago next to the Lake Champlain Islands.

Did the loop around the park and all the side loops to total about 4 miles. Hiked at a brisk pace, took me 1 hour 20 minutes to finish. I liked how the different species of trees had little signs at the beginning of the hike - I've never see Ironwood or Musclewood before. Cost $4 to enter and parking was good.

This is a must do, whether you’re a local or just visiting. It’s easy, it’s scenic and it’s a fabulous way to see the lake.

We loved this gentle hike. We were greeted by friendly staff, the trails were very well taken care of and our dog loved the rock pet beach.

My husband and I brought our Golden Retriever on this short walk. We were greeted by very friendly people and our pup even got a treat. The trails are wonderfully maintained and the pet swimming area was a big hit. We saw three other hiking parties so it definitely wasn’t crowded. Loved this place!

The bike ferry that connects to the Champlain Islands is operational and run by Local Motion in Burlington. This really adds to this already great walk or ride.

Easy hike. Enjoyed swimming in the bay half way through our hike which was on a very hot 95 degree day. Cost was $4 per person because it’s a state park. Great day.

Nice easy hike. Clean and well-maintained trails. There was a 4 dollar fee to get in.

Cute little state park with well maintained trails. Lots of roots and rocks made trail running challenging. Rest for a snack at the waterfront stops.

Easy hike with my young daughter. Very quiet and not busy. Loved the poems and tree descriptions. She loved the hike. We are planning another trip.

Absolutely beautiful bike path from Burlington out across Lake Champlain to South Hero. We did this during our long weekend in Burlington and it was by far the highlight! Once on South Hero we continued to Allenholm farm and orchards and then followed up with a stop at Snow Farm vineyard.

One of my favorite hikes, especially in fall, winter and spring. quiet trails not busy. nature, deer,Turkey, woodpeckers , ducks. located on lake Champlain.

Beautiful hike on our first truly springlike day!!! Great views.

trail very nice short get away I enjoy this spring a lot before start hitting bigger trails

This was a great hike to dust out the cobwebs. Awesome views of the lake and a fun hike.

Not a hike, since it stays flat the whole time. But it's great for biking, running, and walking. Views are spectacular. I went for a run on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't super crowded -- even parked my car at the mills point parking lot (the one closest to the causeway).

Even in rain and snow covered ground, it was beautiful. Very well kept and well-marked trails. Gorgeous views of the lake. You can explore the park in about an hour and a half.

It was a good long walk. Really good sites and pockets of shade along the way. The people were friendly. Plenty of folks on bikes and walking.

This is a great trail. Well maintained and offers lake and woods views. You can choose totally easy, or you can do some minor elevation. The staff are awesome, the views are great, and fun or the whole family. They also had kayak rentals. Worth hiking again and again. You have a small space, but a mix of everything you could ask for. Fun time.
