This was a short moderate rock trail with a beautiful view overlooking lake Champlain. Rocky at some points. It took about 30 minutes to complete the summit trail.

Pretty easy trail. Very dog friendly and hardly any people. Shady throughout. Don’t get discouraged by the hidden entrance.

I went here yesterday to take an easy hike with my 3 year old. We got there and the trail head was completely overgrown and practically impassable. We decided to skip it.

Great views! If you loop all the way around half of the trail is the road. Qujte a bit of traffic.

Good trail for a morning hike before work. Did the 3 mile loop and worked up a sweat. Trails were easy to navigate. Dog friendly and only saw 2 people on the trail. Not the most challenging but I enjoyed it!

Not a bad hike overall. Admittedly would probably be much nicer in the fall as far as views go. The thick forest canopy in the summer blocks many potential views. A pleasant hike if you enjoy relatively deep forest and a mostly uncrowded trail

Great trail but only if you ignore the AllTrails route in favor of coming back down on the devils chair trail. Much better scenery and some very cool geological formations vs a pretty boring paved path.

Nice little introduction trail, very busy and crowded.

I love coming here in all seasons, the views are the best.

Harder to find than expected, tucked away from Hinesburg Rd, one has to drive across the school parking lot, go to the far right corner where there is a gate. then walk across a soccer field, walk along the wood and then from there the actual trail starts. It was muggy and buggy today, low canopy all throughout, no view. It will probably be much more pleasant in the late fall, less leaves, bugs and cooler, will be less oppressive.

This bump in the otherwise flat landscape of Charlotte gives a great reward for just a little work. Plenty of lookouts - some with picnic tables - for unobstructed views across farmland to Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Raptors on view in certain seasons! Parking could get crowded at the base but a paved loop will also get you to the top. Public bathrooms. Plenty of families and birders!

Great trail up to the top! Nice and quick with some great views. Could use a few more blue blazes but other than that it was great!

A short hike with an amazing pay off. Great spot to have a picnic on the top. Not the best spot for peaceful alone time with nature, but a great way to spend a couple hours.

Harder cause of incline. But it's short. By the time you say, "oh, God I need a break, "the top is a moment away. Awesome view! Running water at the top.
