A must do if you’re in town. Go North to North Beach , Leddy Park and the Causeway trail { *through the lake } and South to Oakledge Park. Amazing lake views for much of this trail, and decent shade as well. Please obey the traffic rules and pay attention - it’s a fairly heavily travelled trail in season, in sections.

This is a well kept, well used path that is easy, accessible and beautiful. What a fabulous activity for Burlington.

beautiful area to take a walk

Fairly flat, beautiful views, best on a hybrid bike.

Great new paving job since last we rode here!

Beautiful trail!! Love the scenery.

Nice views and picnic spot.

Great! lots of diferent things to see! the waterfront is amazing.

Many access points and great views along a lot of the way. Cremees(soft serve) at Burlington bay is a great way to end.

Definitely an easy trail. Mostly flat. One or two places where you can see the river. Most of the trail is just flattened grass around a big field and the gardens. When you arrive be sure to bypass the unmarked parking area and continue until you get to the welcome center.

My favorite walk close to my apartment for the pups! Always beautiful

The trail is on private, church owned property. You are required to sign a release form at the beginning of the trail. The beginning of the trail is well marked, but once you get on the trail, I didn't see any additional markings.

You need to park on the church grounds to enter the trail.

There are some nice views of the lake and boats from within the trails. I probably would not go back to that trail, as there are much better trails around.

This is not to be missed! Lots of folks enjoying the trail today from toddlers on trikes to pooches on leashes, so be ready to share the road. Views are spectacular- especially the colchester causeway. Mostly flat, detour around miles 5-7 that puts you on a fairly quiet road with bike lanes. Some gravel and dirt areas. Stop by Charlie's boat house right before the bridge for a snack and a great time!
