Wow, 3.5 miles of ascent and the last half mile is a challenge for sure. Found the peak (mailbox and US flags)! Super view from on top!

I've been hiking in Utah for as long as I can remember, and I don't think I've ever seen wildflowers like this. GO NOW WHILE THEY'RE STILL AT THEIR PEAK! We went in the evening (around 6:30), so it wasn't as crowded as during the day on a weekend, but still plenty of people.

my husband and I arrived around 8:45 am this morning to hike this trial. it must’ve been a good day to go, because there really weren’t many people on the way up or down! the hike up was really nice since it was still early, the temperatures were perfect! we didn’t stop much, so we arrived at the hot springs a little over an hour. the hot pools were smelly, but beautiful, the water was super blue! my only complaint was that one of the only people up there at the same time as us was a middle aged man, all alone, ass naked wallowing in the pool with the double waterfall. I expected to see some naked teenagers, but seeing this guy was actually pretty creepy, we didn’t appreciate that he kept standing up and exposing himself either. it was much hotter on the way down but it took only 45 minutes or so, it’s a really good hike for all skills levels with a great reward!

my son took me on this hike. It was a work out for me but I really enjoyed the scenery.

Beautiful fun trail. Very easy, good for kids.

I summited Mt. Timp last fall via Aspen Grove. The lookout at the farthest end of this hike opened up to a very nice view of a large portion of my Mt. Timp hike bringing back memories of each section of that hike.
I too had issues on this hike with pesky flying bugs that seemed to enjoy repeatedly flying around my head. I had luck keeping them at bay with a small leafy Aspen branch in hand swung around as needed.

This is a great hike. Just remember you are following a creek up the canyon, not going straight up the mountain. There is a sign that points to the trail going up the mountain but this trail turns left at that point and starts going down into the canyon to the red bridge. Our kids loved it. There are some steep places, not dangerous but have to slide down a little bit. The water is cold and refreshing.

Great Moderate hike though first mile is steep. The first mile is highly trafficked. Past that it gets more sparse with people till the end then your are back in crowds. Fun, beautiful.

This loop is impossible to find just plan to do this as an out and back. I have never been lost on a trail and I couldn’t find the down section after pioneer peak to save my life. Ended up hiking over 11 miles after giving up and doing it out and back. Sunset peak is great and the whole hike is beautiful with wild flowers and lakes.

Do this hike from the Battle Creek trail head. It's a little longer (10 miles) but maybe my favorite hike I've ever done.

The hike was great but long and hard. We got to the trail head at 5:00am and it was still dark. My 5 and 8 year old made it up in about 4 hours. It took us about 2.5 hours to get down. We took almost 4 Liters of water and drank about three liters. Had a great time at the lake but we did t have enough time to explore the other lakes.

Very steep. Great views the whole hike and amazing wildflowers.

Great morning hike before it gets too hot. Beautiful, clear lake - you can see the trout swimming around. I would rate it as a moderate hike- it's long but not overly steep.

Beautiful, mostly shaded trail. The wild flowers are amazing! Dogs are allowed off leash on odd number days. The trail is steep almost the entire trail but the views are worth it. The gate that allows you to park right at the trail head doesn't open until 8 AM, but we parked on the road and walked up to the trail head. There is a $3 fee for each vehicle that you pay as you are exiting Mill Creek Canyon and they accept cards. I would definitely do this hike again! Maybe I'll head back this fall.

Steep hike with amazing view

Of all the trails I’ve done in the past, this may be the hardest and boring trail I’ve been on. I didn’t quite make it to the end because the narrow ridge scared me. I probably only had about a 1/2 mile left of hiking, but I was done after hiking uphill for 2 hours. The wild flowers are cool, but I like the flowers better at Stewart Falls. I won’t do this hike again. It wasn’t fun nor was it exciting. I’m also the person that chases waterfalls, so don’t trust me with this review. I’m also a slow hiker so that’s probably why it took 2 hours and I still didn’t finish.

Nice walk from the Visitor Center (trailhead) to the beautiful Huber Homestead and orchards. We had an 8, 7, and 3 year old hobbit with us and they did it just fine without too much grumbling.

This is one of my favorite hikes to do, it has a beautiful drive up and is a good moderate hike. Usually takes less than an hour to go up (without stopping) and has some good spots for hammocks at the top. Also a good spot for camping as long as you stay off of the trail.

Fun hike! A great workout and fairly steep most of the way. The trail was busy on a Saturday morning so watch where you step, lots of dog poop on the trail. Not much water running either.

Very strenuous hike. Has to be the steepest trail I’ve done. Easy hike up to Red Pine Lake, but after that it’s vertical. I was crawling spiderman-like up to the ridge. I wish I had remembered the bug spray because the gnats around the lake are furious. Great view at the top!
.

Nice short hike, a little steep. Cave is kind of a let down but the river and waterfall are worth it

fun easy hike with and it's fun to play in the water

The wildflowers are stunning and are every bit as pretty and as many as other locations in the Wasatch Mountains. The difference—hardly any people because of the limited parking. We skipped the hike to Murdock Peak, went to the overlook instead and then hiked down the Great Western Trail to connect with another leg of the trail to dog lake. We logged 8.5 Miles. Fantastic!!!!

Gorgeous trail, and one I would definitely do again. The wildflowers are coming out right now, making it an especially good time to go. FYI: I would rate this trail as "highly trafficked." My husband felt like we were on a highway. We backpacked in and then camped at the top, and people were at the lake until the dark was settling in and again the next morning by 7 a.m. Not the place to go for solitude.

One of my favorite favorite hikes! Flowers are stunning right now! My pups also love this trail-.plenty of water along the way right now!
FYI-loads of biting flies.remember the bug spray!

This was a tough one. The last mile or so seems to just be straight up hill. But don’t let that scare you. It was definitely worth it. The turn off to the parking lot is right BEFORE the White Pine sign if you’re coming from Salt Lake, so I missed it and had to turn around. The lake has plenty of little private spots where you can sit and relax. I saw someone in a hammock up there. Maybe I’ll try that next time. It did get a little chilly once I was in the shade at the lake because you really sweat a lot going up. It was a Sunday and there were people around, but not too crowded for my taste. The bugs didn’t bother me at all on the way up, but they were driving me crazy on the way down. I headed up at 11:30 and headed down at 1:30. No snakes I could see. Yay! But I did get to talk to a couple squirrels. Haha.
