Google maps now takes you straight to the trail head. can't miss it. I had to stop half way up the hike because it was so over grown. I couldn't find the trail anymore. I was bushwhacking and rock climbing so I turned around. wish someone cleaned it up or records the entire hike. lol

This was a lovely trail that starts in a heavily wooded area and takes you though a canyon. We saw some deer along the way. There’s plenty of shade but you also get some sun once you’re in the canyon. There are a few places for a beautiful view of the canyon and rock formations. We went all the way without issue, but were dead tired by the time we got back to the car.

Primarily used for mountain biking. My husband and I hiked 5.6mi. The first 2 mi were very scenic along the Virgin River. This is an open desert hike with no shade. Lots of bikers so must keep dogs on leash if taking them with!

Started by driving in to the Virgin Dam Trail head. Google will lead you there. It was a short hike but the views of the surrounding mountains and rocky cliffs along the trail are amazing. I thought the trail was pretty easy and safe.

Wau this was awesome

Multiple trails wind throughout the Hurricane (Utah) Cliffs—about 30 miles of them. You can get a map at the BLM in St. George. We hit the Hurricane Rim and wandered down to the Canal Trail (managed by the Hurricane Historical Preservation Society). “The Drop,” which takes you to the Canal Trail is steep, rocky, and sports loose slippery stones. Take care. The Canal Trail we saw (only about a mile or so) can have some potentially precarious spots (crumbling, narrow ledges), but is largely safe for steady hikers. Gorgeous panoramic views on the rim, and neat, historic canal features down on the aptly named Canal Trail. Worth at least one visit.

Requires technical canyoneering gear. Do not do this without it. The descent into the canyon is a horrible scree filled slope. The spring at the end makes for a beautiful scene just above the tourists in the Narrows below. Last rappel into the Narrows is slippery but easy to glide down the waterfall.

If you want spectacular views, this trail is not for you. If you like hiking in trees and through some grasslands, then you will probably like this hike. No view at trail end, but there is an old piece of farm equipment (possibly a drill for planting seeds) on the left just before the sign post.

Nice easy trail. Good recovery after Angels Landing yesterday!

Decent hike. No spectacular views. First mile after split off from Northgate peaks is pretty boring but it gets better

This was our second hike of the day. We did about 2.8 miles (1.4 out and 1.4 back). Not very scenic, but of course we did not do the entire trail which I’m sure would have been spectacular. We also only did the wooded parts so that was definitely why there were not very many views.
