Waterfall portion closed but mossy cave is not. People are abusing the land and breaking trees using them as braces to get down the slick parts. People are going off trail. Incredibly irritating for people that actually want to enjoy the area.

This is definitely worth seeing in the winter, the icicles were awesome. The hike was very easy even in the winter. We also went over to the waterfall even though it said the trail was closed and it was worth the loop.

Nice little hike in the snow but nothing more- little highlight were the massive icicles in the cave.

Short and slick! The mossy grotto had beautiful ice formations and the waterfall was frozen through...great photo ops!

Pretty short (but slippery) winter hike. The waterfall was a frozen cone, which was interesting. Not worth a trip by itself, but a nice easy hike if you’re already in the area.

It was cool to see, but the rim has the same views the entire time.

Easy trail. Frozen waterfall.

It was a lovely drive with lots of viewpoints. I did every other viewpoint driving toward Rainbow Point and then the rest driving back so I wouldn’t be stopping at every single one and so I had something to do on the way back.

This was a nice trail. It was colder so there weren’t many people at all. It goes over a wash and up to a fork where you can see a waterfall (no waterfall right now) and the mossy cave. The cave is certainly mossy and there’s an info sign that says it’s covered in icicles in the winter. The trailhead is fairly easy to find. Go east on 12 and around one of the bends is a parking area with a sign and a little shack.

The waterfall had essentially no water in it (in late October) and the cave wasn't anything special. Easy, but extremely boring hike.

Great way to see the canyon as a whole. Start at sunset point for a slight drop in elevation along the route

Low visibility throughout the canyon. Started at Bryce point. Great views when the the sun poked through!

a must do and many great stops to view the various canyon types and vistas.

short and easy hike. mossy grotto nothing special. waterfall was special and if you continue around the bend the creek is fun to follow up into the canyon

Did Bryce Pt to Sunset. Great views easy trip.

We made a quick stop with our group of 18 people. We spent most of our time by the waterfall. We hiked up the river to get to it. The children enjoyed it and the scenery was beautiful. Easy little walk.

Fun short hike with beautiful views.

Fun hike, we went during a thunderstorm and the river along the way looked like chocolate milk! Two adults and a 3 year old, fun and easy peasy!

Good little stroll for those with young kids that want to start the feeling of walking to a ‘reward’. The waterfall trail portion was CLOSED. The cave is probably best seen in winter - nothing special in summer but feels air conditioned in the heat !!

Super easy hike. The cave was beautiful. There was very small stream at the waterfall in August

One, not what i thought it would be. Two don’t go in august, barely seeping water.

A small cave and a small waterfall. Interesting but not must go.

Not really worth the hike in the summer...there was a trickle though. The mossy cave was still mossy. The best part was dipping our feet in the cold water.

Hiked only a section of this wonderful trail

Easy trail for small children. Approximately one mile round trip. The waterfall is worth it.

The trail to the waterfall is not actually closed: there are two « closed » signs, but on the older versions of the trail that got eroded. There is a new one with a tiny wooden bridge on the left of the older ones. That said, be careful, erosion is still at work, and the new trail will be closed one day too...

Nice short hike. But the trail to the waterfall is currently closed.

Nice short hike, a little steep. Cave is kind of a let down but the river and waterfall are worth it

We loved this little place. The trail is easy enough for a wheelchair or a stroller for most/all of it. The cave is more like an overhang, but still fun. The waterfall is the best part. It's refreshing and great to take picture with!
