This is a great day hike best made in the spring or fall as there is almost nothing on this trail to provide shade- you'll be in the sun the entire hike. Bring lots of water, sunscreen and head covering. Good hiking boots are a must since the trail is long and rocky. If you are hiking this in the late spring or summer bring insect repellent as well. The trail rewards with fantastic views of the island, the Great Salt Lake, the surrounding mountains and wildlife that call the island home.Show more
