DIRECTIONS TO TH: Alltrails will take you right there. There isn't a specified parking area, so you can park on the side of the road either before or after the Trailhead.

This was a beautiful hike! If you go before Noon the trail will be about 70% shade. Beautiful hike through dense trees. The ground is hard packed dirt, perfect for hiking and biking. I only saw 7 people the whole hike and half of those were bikers. Saw lots of birds, chipmunks and squirrels. Saw deer tracks on the trail but didn't see any out and about.

The trail actually starts with Short Stack, then a small section is Short Ribs and then it continues on to Road to WOS. I uploaded a picture I found online so you can clearly see the loop. There are signs the whole way, as long as you know which trails you're taking. There's also a Side Order trail and an Over Easy trail, so it's a whole food theme!

The leaves were just starting to change but I may do this one again in a couple weeks when the colors are in full display.

Nicely shaded trail most of the first half. Lots of bikers so just be aware. Otherwise great & family friendly.

This was an ok trail for the dog. The trail board states that dogs are to be on leash except in off-leash area - which are not marked. There is a little stream when you start the trail so the dogs can cool down before and after. There were a lot of mice when we did this trail. The trail itself is pretty narrow and exposed to the sun. We ended up turning around when the trail splits in 2.

The mountainside is nice and there is a little stream at the trail head. However, if you looking for quietness, this is not the trail for you. The noise from the freeway permeates the entire hike. Also, it is clear that the trail is a favorite of mountain bikers by the number of bikes and the way the trail itself is carved.

Excellent tree run. Did it in the rain second week of May and it felt like I was in the pacific northwest. Super green time of year. Although Im not sure if this map is accurate.

The trail was too muddy to hike today. I almost face planted scoping it out to see if it was doable for the kids. We’re going to try it again later in the year because it looked pretty nice. The trail head says Bad Apple and Flying Dog.
