The trail was beautiful! Such amazing views and colors to see right now. Easy enough to do with kids, but it is a steady incline most of the way.

Awesome trail but challenging after the lake. The ascent was quite steep to the ridge saddle and the trail quite narrow with patches of ice! Not as bad going up but a tad bit scary going down. The views are superb and magnificent both at the Albion Alta Bowl and at the other side where you can see the MT Timpanogos Massive Did not make it to to too if Devils Castle as it was not prudent to go at it alone:: there was Nobody there on the trail but me after the Ceret Lake ..

Hiked this trail on 10/13/19 The lake was frozen, but it still looked nice! Some parts of the trail had ice and were also muddy, so be careful! Trail was not too bad on the first hour, but after that, it was difficult for me (considering that I am not really athletic! Haha). But also, this is a great time to hike this trail because the fall leaves are blooming! Really beautiful fall colors! Overall, nice trail! Red Pine is definitely a good autumn hike :)

It's an urban loop where you forget you are in the city at times. Expect to see horses.

Beautiful overnight by the lake. Some patches of ice on the way up that are unavoidable and if you’re staying the night up there it’s quite cold... be prepared.

Too rocky and uphill. Easy to sprain your ankles.

I completed this trail on my Hardtail. It was a bit of a challenging climb with how rocky sections of the trail are but doable for anyone with moderate fitness and good gearing. The downhill was nice but given the hikers on the trail you need to go slow.

on Gloria Falls

when you get to the Red Pine White Pine Lake Trail intersection, there is no sign for the Falls. You just need to take the Red Pine Trail and then stay to the left of the river as you are hiking. There is a bridge but don't cross it just stay to the left and Hike all the way there. It's about 15 minutes from the white pine Red Pine intersection. Definitely worth it. Felt like nobody knew about it because I was the only one on the trail today even though there were tons of cars in the parking lot.

Beautiful, shimmering aspens, frozen waterfall, scenic overlook

We parked at the trail head on to Wasatch which added according to my phone at least 800 to vertical feet to the hike. We hiked all week and this was definitely my favorite.

A great hike! Saw deer playing in the meadow. The first half is wide open and not much shade. The second half got a bit more crowded as the trail meets the shorter trail to the lake. There were a few muddy spots and a few icy spots but nothing to hinder the fun.

Really great trail that starts at White Pine trail. Many frozen section along the way so be careful not to skip. The falls is hidden on a path that heads to white pine then just after a bridge at Around 2 miles go left and follow the frozen river. Gloria falls is truly glorious and frozen now.

The trail was dry. Creeks crossing the trail were frozen over and the lake was about 75% covered with ice today. Beautiful.

Best hike in Utah! Also one of the most difficult. Definitely doing it again!

Took about 6-7 hours, lots of different terrain with a lot of boulder hopping and scrambling especially towards the end. There’s a few places to filter water from along the way. Amazing views throughout and at the summit.

I loved arriving to the lake! It was beautiful. The water is freezing around the edges, but the trail was dry! I wanted an easier hike with some patches of heart pumping action, which this was. The end is more rocky. The first part is more forest like, which moves into man poured rock for cars to drive on. Those are slippery coming down, and harder for stability. The trail is clear , no question where to go.
